Definately, bless those international ATMs they have at Post offices in Japan.
I came across a pretty scary moment on my trip, I had a majority of my money on my debit card. I tried like 9 different banks in Shinjuku and none of their ATMs would accept my debit card...and I didnt have any money left in my wallet or anything.
but after going to a Japanese post office thats where I found an international ATM.
