She is a latecomer to the information superhighway, but 75-year-old Sigbritt Lothberg is now cruising the Internet with a dizzying speed. Lothberg's 40 gigabits-per-second fiber-optic connection in Karlstad is believed to be the fastest residential uplink in the world, Karlstad city officials said. Sorry to burst your bubble, but its only 40Gb (GigaBit), 40GB would be GigaByte (e.g. aproximate 8 times as much)

wow.. 5gb/s that really damn fast.. will fill up a tb hdd in less than 200 sec.. holy shit..  :drool: my country just upgraded line to 4mb.. but the download still at 512kb/s.. huhu.. damn tm net.. waiting for wi-max.. hope it bring larger bandwidth.. equal to faster download speed..
