The protagonist of one of Portugal's most gripping courtroom dramas has died after almost 20 years in which she fooled everyone, including her live-in companion, that she was actually a male army general. (http://www.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,,2130466,00.html)

When I read this, I was thinking "hmm...it sounds like another story about a jazz player that lived life as a man, got married and had 2 kids" From a Grade 8 video in Family Studies.
The 'General' aspect was interesting but to dupe people from their money was not. :tama-mad: She said that women don't have the freedoms that men do but decides to engage in criminal activities instead? Yeah, ok...
