Master filmmaker Ingmar Bergman, one of the greatest artists in cinema history, died Monday at his home on an island off the coast of Sweden. He was 89. (http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/world/20070730-1028-obit-bergman.html)

Another film master passed away.  Too bad we don't see how he could utilize digital media on his movie.

I live in Sweden, most of the papers frontpages today are dedicated to him.
The island that you mentioned is called Fårö, from what i have read Ingmar Bergman will be buried at Fårö.
