Shanghai has banned taxi drivers from yawning and snacking on the job in a new drive to smarten up the city's cabs, just months after suggesting portable spittoons for cabbies, a Chinese newspaper reported on Friday.
But the Beijing News did not say what punishment the drivers would face for a careless yawn or a noisy nibble on a snack, and quoted a taxi company boss saying the rule would be hard to enforce. (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20070824/od_uk_nm/oukoe_uk_china_taxis;_ylt=AvDhrNWd4NdOpeNCO4smhR_tiBIF)

The no snacking thing I can understand; after all they have to try and be professional when they're driving clients around and all. But no yawning? C'mon that's just stupid. What's next, no sneezing?

Quite right u are ..... but its all to do with the Olympics coming up.
Seems like the Chinese have taken the event rather seriously.
They are doing great things but i'd like to see them try and enforce this one out!!!!
