A German left his dead mother seated in her favourite armchair at their shared home for two years because he could not face organising a funeral, police in the southern town of Fuerstenfeldbruck said on Friday. (http://www.signonsandiego.com/news/world/20070824-0447-odd-germany-corpse.html)

That's really sad . . those people must have really been attached to their loved ones. Imagine loving someone so much that you just couldn't accept that they are dead. The Vienna woman's claim that her aunt was "sleeping" really made me sad. D=

Just imagine what would happen if you visited one of those people's house and unknowingly walked into the room with the dead one in it . . that would be REALLY creepy. 0_0
