Title: Owen Wilson recovering from suicide attempt

Police were called to Owen Wilson's home because of an attempted suicide report, according to a police log of weekend calls.

The Calls For Service report from the Santa Monica Police Department doesn't indicate who made the 911 call, but lists "attempt suicide" as the reason for the call. (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,294895,00.html)

Oh man, this is some sad news, gotta wonder what drove Owen to attempt this.
He's a good guy, and I hope he gets better with proper care, physically and mentally.

I wonder if it is true when they say funny guys are those who are the most depressed. I hear it was seeing his ex-girlfriend with another man that led him to do it. Anyway I hope he fully recovers soon enough. He's one of the few actors that I like on and off screen.

Oh wow.
This is pretty upsetting news. I do enjoy Owen Wilson movies and he did seem like a likable guy on and off screen. I hope he does get better and gets proper care.

That's what I've heard too, and that many comedians are actually depressed and they turn to comedy to make people laugh, which in turn (temporarily) makes them feel better.

I, too, like Owen Wilson. I hope he recovers well!

I like him too. I would haver never thought he(of all people) would try to kill himself. It's really shocking to think that all this time...... I don't even know what to think I just hope he gets help & doesn't try again.

whoa what was the reason why he attempted to kill himself? i know there is a big reason why he did that... thank god he was rescued...

^there's usually never really one reason why people try to kill themselves. It's usually a build up of many things, and it could take one little thing to drive them to suicide.

That article says that his break-up has very little to do with this and really doesn't show any idea of what could have been wrong.


I hope he recovers and that his depression is treated

I hope he gets help and recovers. I really like him ;_;
