Title: Lansing man loses arm when home booby trap explodes

Police are investigating an explosion that injured a Felt Street man.

The man, a neighbor said, apparently lost a considerable part of his right arm today after tripping a booby trap he'd set in his home to catch burglars. (http://www.wzzm13.com/news/news_article.aspx?storyid=80836)

Egads, thats horrible news, but he should come out of this alright, even though it seems like he may lose his right hand.
Setting up those type of explosive traps is extremely dangerous, and he was doing this as a direct response to having been burglarized 2 years ago.

Well, he made his choice, now he has deal with the consequences that will follow.

How stupid.

Is it legal in the US to set explosive traps into your own house?

hmmm ...... I don't know ..... some states have stupid laws ^_^   

it's def. illegal in where I live XD
