Three husky officers wrestled Carol Anne Gotbaum to the ground after the shoeless, agitated mother of three ran through a Phoenix airport, panicked that she had missed her flight, a grainy surveillance video shows. ... (In the cell) She was dead less than 40 minutes later.

The woman was desperate to fly to alcohol rehab clinic. Airport are such terrifying places.

Fucking hell, from my experiences the police have been lousey and just don't listen to put it plainly...guess it's not just this country where they choose not to listen...

The woman was being stupid.  They handcuffed her to a fixture checked her according to policy and the woman strangled herself trying to get lose.  Still waiting for toxicology reports.
