A self-employed financial advisor with an Edwardian-style moustache has promised a court he will shave it off.
Charles Law, 48, of Borehamwood, in Herts, admitted assaulting a boy of 13 after he was teased about it by a group of teenagers. (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/england/beds/bucks/herts/7040144.stm)

Kids are always gonna be like that, dumb and ignorant, everyone in the world has been there and done that.
Adults need to be calmer in those sorts of situations, but hey, we're only human, and can only take so much.
Anyone who might choose to use the phrase "Kids will be kids" in regards to this, IMHO, is using it as a cop out, since its a very cliche saying.
A kids lack of good manners and common sense will always fall back to parental responsibility.

Law had a tendency to over-react when teased

If the guy can't handle being teased... maybe he shouldn't have grown such an outrageous moustache in the first place. It's pretty cool to have and show off, but there ARE going to be people, kids and adults, who will tease you about it. A grown man should know better.
