Ayaya is still kicking! I was worried we might not hear from her for awhile after Egao. H!P is rolling quite nicely into 2008. :D

I think they realized that it would be out on the same day as Berryz and Buono releases. And during a month packed with C-ute, Berryz, Buono, the Nacchi and Maimi single, and the Ongaku Gatas album. I think UFA believes that those groups deserve to have more of a push then her.

Go Aya for getting the theme song for the special olympics!  Her song will be broadcasted worldwide, which is amazing!
It *can't*  be a ballad for this, as it is the special olympics theme, so it should be mid to up tempo with inspiring, motivational lyrics or something?

Kizuna is a ballad that was sung and written by Kamenashi Kazuya, one of the members of KAT-TUN, and was released as a B-side to 'Seishun Amigo' by Shuuji to Akira, the number one song of 2005, and something like number 5 of 2006 or something... it was the theme tune to Gokusen 2 as well.

Aya took part today in CBC RADIO "Issho ni Utao! FREE LIVE!" aired live in a hall with 4,000 attendants. I uploaded her part on Sendspace (http://www.sendspace.com/file/ju143r).

It's breathtaking. She definitely needs to write the lyrics to a new song, just to get more recognition and be a steep closer to Ai Otsuka bohemian songwriter image lol. It looks she's not gonna move on from the jazzy style even thought the sales are not quite supporting her. I guess it takes time to build up a new image after so many years idoling around. We can expect Kizuna to be a ballad, although I hope it has an outstanding arrangement that is not boring or studio live recorded. Enjoy the Free Live! Egao, Love Namida Iro, Momoiro, Ne~e, Ki ga Tsukeba Anata, NAMIDA··· almost a whole hour of awesome singing!

UFA (http://www.up-front-works.jp/discography/zetima/25/s_22/index.html) just reported that Aya Matsuura's Kizuna will be a cover of another Kizuna released by the gospel choir The Spirit of Japan in 2006. You can hear / buy it on iTunes. I felt like being in the Sunday mas.

Seriously, timing at UP-Front is all upside down. She gets a deal for March but the single is released late in May and she plays it exactly two months before the actual release date. Really, Aya?  :sweatdrop:

Anyway I like it. The song seems endless haha Anthem feel, yeah. Nice arrangement  :yep:

Oh wow.
This sounds really really awesome. A lot better than what I was expecting! I think this is a great move for Ayaya to go to an artist as opposed to an idol. It really shows off her voice and versatility, imo.

Hmm.. I hate to always be the negative one.  I swear I don't mean to be!  :badluck:

But after so many slow tempo songs I was actually hoping for something a lot more upbeat. Yeah I know she's grown up from the whole "OMFG PEEEEEACH" thing (which I actually never really liked LOL) but still..  It's inspirational, etc and all that buzz but come on people: give her something I can groove with!

Still though, it's quite pretty.  In any other context I would be excited to hear such a lovely song from Ayaya.. like I said it's just so many.. one after another from her.  Would it have hurt to give her a double-A side or something?

I still love you Ayaya!  Don't give up!   :pleeease:

I dl-ed the radio rip and I'm shocked, I totally love this song  :heart:  The arrangement isn't too bad, not terribly boring, but Ayaya's vocals are just... W O W. I am definitely pleased!

I absolutely love this song, but I can't say I like the PV... I don't know, it feels like it lacks something. And I'm not a huge fan of Aya's hair and clothes either, but I can't complain cause the song is luv  :yep:

i kinda agree with you, the hair and clothes kinda make her a little old/elder to me. but still like Aya and her new song!
