Not to say that these people didn't deserve their awards, but I think these awards kinda lose credibility when they give it to both female and male actors from the same show in two different categories (comedy and drama)... Well *I* at least get the feeling that these awards were probably given for some other reason than acting. But what do I know eh.. It just looks very weird.

And also yeah, totally agree with your view!! As much as I'm a fan of The Sopranos, I don't think they deserved the award(s) for last year.. Other years, sure, but feel they were only given these since the show has now ended, kinda like a parting gift, or a gold watch.. Definitely not deserved for last year, since that season was way below previous seasons..
I've never seen 30 Rock, so can't really comment on the show, but these awards look dodgy/rigged at best..
