Authorities in Osaka were involved in a police chase sure to go down in the record books after 27-year-old Hirofumi Fukuda was being pursued for assault in a January 21st incident in which police officers were assaulted by him. (http://www.shortnews.com/start.cfm?id=67953)

:o It's Grand Theft Auto-esque. Surely a bit of overkill? It's not like they were chasing a Godzilla like character.

I guess there's not so much pursues in Japan, so everyone wants to take a part :D
