A new kind of cafe is proving to be the cat's meow with Tokyo residents unable to own a feline of their own.
At these so-called neko cafes, or cat cafes, customers can play with cats as if the felines were their own pets. Such cafes have caught on recently as places to relax and unwind, and are proving particularly popular in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Neat idea. :)

Awwww. I'm a cat lover so this appeals to me.
But then again, if my cat smelled another feline on me he'd scratch my eyes out. rofl

We already have one of this in HK, and it proves to be a big hit because people can enjoy a great tea time while interacting with the cute cats!
With the pressure Japanese people face each day, this kind of business will do good.

I think I remember someone going to one... was it ebc? o_O
Or maybe it was some clip I saw on youtube.

As a cat lover, I can relate to their interest... Just another thing to check out, if I ever go to Japan. XD
