A 46-year-old Japanese national is facing deportation for operating a nightclub in Malate, Manila, suspected of holding Filipino women forced into prostitution.
Bureau of Immigration (BI) operatives picked up Masaichi Suzuki from the Philippine National Police (PNP) Criminal Investigation and Detection Group in Camp Crame last March 12 on the basis of a mission order issued by immigration bureau head Marcelino Libanan.
“Foreigners who commit immoral and indecent acts by preying on minors and forcing them into prostitution are undesirable aliens who should be kicked out of the country,” Libanan said.
