Danny Federici, the longtime keyboard player for Bruce Springsteen whose stylish work helped define the E Street Band's sound on hits from "Hungry Heart" through "The Rising," died Thursday. He was 58. (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080418/ap_on_en_mu/obit_federici)
What a shock. I've known of the E Street Band since the "Born in the U.S.A." days and was familar with the easy strains of the Federici touch. Sad day for rock-n-roll.
