Okay, hawaiian friends, you have 3 months to prepare yourselves for this
The 2008 Morning Musume Fan Club Tour in HAWAII will be from September 2nd to September 8th

YES! And prepare we shall the timer starts now people I am not gonna let this one slip through us again! We need to plan what we are going to do, if we want to do something then we shall (do something includes going to the store in one big NON-FC mass just to show them they have fans here). I just heard the news and came rushing back from the nether reaches of the internet! Thank you reyfer for the topic, for if the people here don't mind we can use this as a basis for all good things to come!
So I've heard from the digital ether that they plan to make it only two days of things and that they are on thursday and friday... now this is a great distressing point for us cause we all have lives (and this makes me believe they don't like us even more). Now the probable good thing about this is if anything the life is on Friday, and at least thats a Friday, everyone has three months to try to set up their vacation week for that week (if you can't than maybe set a prep day on one of those days and pray for the best? or hold of till the last minute and hope we find out before then).
So what is everyone up for? How much effort are we giving and what are we going to do? I mean they are already all impressed with Korea and Taiwan and Shanghai soon enough, could we make even a little impression especially since technically we aren't a part of this? Everybody voice in Hawaii or not... if you want to help out we could use ideas on what to do and how you think we could do it.
Let's try to do something this time, make an impression!

Yes thats the key Dj! You gonna be free on a thursday friday though? That's really close to right afterschool starts up again for me... it's sad but I think we are at a disadvantage. Fear not though for it won't stop me!
For anyone interested... though we don't know if/when we'll have access they do let us buy pic sets on the last day, which come out to about 2 dollars a picture per set (that is for example MM is 9 people so 18-20 bucks for 1 set of those). I'm kind of surprised I scanned in some pictures I bought and I found them on JPN uploaders later ><.
We really should make a banner... you think sazabi would be interested in making a banner with MM on it ><. Then if they do it at waikiki shell again we can put it up outside ><. You know they won't let us in though.
As of now the only thought I had (though it was really lame) was Hawaii! People <3 Hello! Project...lol ><.
I hear some people outside of Japan can go but they have to pay the same price and take their own flight in... that amazing sacrifice of money for them (since the Tour costs for the flight as well as the tour and they are paying for that + their own flight from whereever they are). Too bad we can't figure it out in time...then someone who could burn 1600dollars could burn that to go see them up close ><.

@ invisiname: i'm definitely up for some H!P stuff at their shop..I'm sure they have some Rika stuff as well..I like to get some photos and a T-shirt..wonder how much the T-shirt costs?

I'm sorely tempted to hop a plane to Hawaii during their visit to see if I could get a look or two at them.

If you got a good pair of binoculars then its an almost certain possibility that you'd get a good look at them... since the fan number usually has them getting a big-ish open area for them to do their live. ><
I don't know for certain though, but hey if they are gonna be here for another AH...I don't know what they'd do...doesn't it get boring to go to Hawaiian Waters over and over? Maybe not ><

Come on guys and gals, cheer up!
I've been trying to think of things we can do, but without more information all we can do is ensure that everyone we know is on the lookout and that we are free on thursday/friday (especially FRIDAY!), in hopes of things to come. Worse comes to worse we can go to the store and have fun there at least ^^;
But in order to try to make people feel more enthused I sat around for several days trying to come up with things we could do for banners, shirts, signs, anything that we could put somewhere for hawaii support.... after trying to work out some unique musume I have this.

I know its not much planning but I wanted to start off small, I haven't done research as to how much it would cost to do things like this but, come on people we can be ready this time let's not let it slip us by!

Thanx JFC...your gyrating miki's are.......*shakes head*... well they certainly do get attention...lol.
The Sayumi Style logo is just me running low on ideas at the time...its suppose to be Sayumi in all the recognizable things she has... so WaiWai, Akuma and Black Sayu, then the tree is the really obscure one but if you've seen BKBKB and seen her MC statement, Christmas reminds you of the Tree, the tree of illumination, then of lightbulbs which give off so much energy which she knows cause she's the ecomoni of the sea.... which she uses to tell all the other girls that the answer to what do you think of when you think of Christmas is suppose to be Michishige Sayumi...lol. It was a stretch I didn't expect anyone to get...but I wasn't getting any good ideas for sayu.
Glad you like'd the Linlin one! It's one of my favorites too cause its sooo silly...lol.

I've basically gotten permission (mostly just people being alright with my decision) to go 'stalking' for a few days in September. Hopefully I can keep up my desire to go for long enough.
I just need to figure out what I'm going to do going down there and everything. I know this isn't probably a place to be talking about it, but since I have so little knowledge about the area and all the happenings, can anyone PM me or something so I can try to figure stuff out?
I really want to go, as I feel this will be one of the only chances I'll get at seeing MM, or at least getting to be in the same area as them. It'd be so much easier if I was living in Hawaii instead of Illinois... Even if I don't get a glimpse of them, it'd be a fun experience and trip for me. ^_^
I'd love to help out with designs and stuff for signs you guys want to make (not that I'll be of much help).

wooo finally back for a good while :) anyway i'm really excited. my family has begun printing orders from UFA and my friend started printing pics already. it's a huge order so i'm guessing this will be a big event.
lol call me crazy but i actually want to spray paint there murals on a wall for them to see. i'm thinking what wall i could do where they could see...then again i don't wan't to do it illegally and get arrested haha although if they saw it, it'd be worth it. i do have some legal walls though, there's one across mccully zippys that we paint all the time. lol ah i don't know i think im just going crazy haha.
can't wait for september though :)

I've done a couple more designs I have but haven't put up yet, but we gotta actually do something, I was thinking printing up a bunch of papes and finding a way to make a custom binding orsometing (so it doesn't look like we just manufactured something from kinkos) but then that would probably be pretty small unless we can get people from all over not just the Hawaii or even the US people.
All I've done is designs and I haven't thought of how to even make that happen, I mean making banners and things... if anyone can work that out I'd be really grateful...
more than anything knowing where it is would be key to anything...even sazabi's fantasy plan to do giantmural wall...cause we need to know what we can do or not. If it's not Waikiki Shell...if its somewhere bigger and indoors, then we are a bit doomed.
But not giving up yet...its getting close so let's get up to speed everyone, report in with ANY ideas you got.

can you draw the girls or something along that? i watched their '04 fan club hawaii tour and they received a photo of all the girls at the time..
you could try and making a huge photo mural for the girls..

Ok guys we are just reallllly bad at this... time's pretty much up and we have no plan... Sazabi do we have a time frame?? I'd like to know if I can just head over to a location casually after class on friday or if I have to cut class...lol.
So (assuming its at the same place) anyone else gonna go down there and stand outside and just listen to it? Then we can go to the store as a giant english force...lol.

Doesn't the tour start tomorrow? and the events aren't even till thursday friday, we can't spend too much energy yet... unless you think they were dong AH3 before the stuff started?
BUT... I did hear that the live might be on thursday not friday... so they might have switched up the order this time... worse so we still don't know where it is... we are fighting a losing battle it seems... but I won't give up till the last... if one of us can go... anyone then it'll be worth the effort just to be outside... if they decide to hit us and put it in an area we cannot go...then so be that... but until it's been confirmed... we gotta keep trying.
We don't have a lot of people still in the spirit I guess... but there's gotta be something we can do.... T_T I would hate to think they are intenionally messing with us

tried too, but it was hard since most of the times they came down here, I was busy except for the one time I actually got took some pictures of them.

UFA staff hates us...it really seems so ><. They tend to notice us and consider us in the way... as the fact is...we are....prety much.

Long ago (2002?), me and kray stalking Ala Moana Center in search of Musume. We walked around and around and around and . . .
. . . after an hour we were taking a break near Long's Drugs and spotted Nono walking with a few grown-ups. Musume sighting! Some other people spotted her and tried to get the autograph but were firmly rejected by the chaperones.
We pulled out all our super ninja powers of invisibility and, using the secret technique of walking behind them several paces, followed them to a waiting van in the parking lot out front. We THINK we caught a glimpse of Takahashi but weren't completely certain. Maybe if she poked her ass out of the minivan...
Good times! Another gal I knew online woulda loved it cause her fave gal was Tsuji. Too bad she was working that night.

I hear Reina was at Ala's today... you know I don't care if we can't get close cause of chaperones...but I'd like to see...I mean... it'd make things feel more real than me coming on here trying to get people together and then just not doing anything cause of school.
I hear the event tomorrow might be in the evening... the concert... so....hopefully I can go... anyone going... if you wanna make yourself a little badge with one of the concepts I made...you should do it...lol, I know they are small but I'm trying to think of a nice last minute design ><

Was just up at the store and it seems like they already have some muscle to turn away those not in the tour. I asked where the friggin' bathroom was and the guy was grabbing my arm trying to escort me away. Sheesh.
Interesting to note...I saw a tour van heading back to Kalakaua and I could have sworn I saw JunJun munching on a banana in the back. But, there was also nine bikes racked on the top so maybe they had a little biking excursion.
I'm hoping to grab some photos of Ai-chan whenever they open up the shop. If the concert's at the WS I'll try to hang out front to listen if anyone wants to join (I'll be the one frantically waving Ai-chan's uchiwa).

I was told that the local Up Front people are paranoid about even revealing the location of their office (at the Shopping Plaza). Employees are also sworn to secrecy, no doubt via a spoken oath with one hand on a Sharan-Q greatest hits CD.
But a quick Google search produces a website (Up Front Hawaii?) complete with address information.

Yah without hito pink and miki pink it would be pointless.
Solo's made the thing awesome, Chun and Lin did awesome! and it seemed like Aika made a little goof on be positive.
It was awesome even from far away with binocs...lol.
Shanimuni gets to be awesome and it keeps getting better, first it was ai/miki/risa/reina... then eri got to do it, and later in haroten party sayu got to too...now EveryonE got to!...awesomeness pure awesomeness.
Who cares about extra songs, they got high fives ><. I was so jealous.

I forgot too but thank goodness we have some excellent Hawaiian spies here to keep us informed. I'm tempted to listen to some of the rips to see how solo Shinimuni Paradise would turn out...plus Sayu and Eri's solos.

Linlin did sound fantastic, slightly disappointed by the lack of cheering for her, she's arguably one of Morning Musume's better singers. She seemed to have one uber-fan though, "LINLIN!!!!!!"

I ended going late dut to some stuff, I also brought my friend that used to work there at the shop so he knew all the workers still yet.
I got pictures of the posters that were in the room and I got a couple of things myself too.

I saw one of the FC peoples to take pictures of the zenbu set cause they couldn't afford it...that was kinda funny...and the girl working the counter was nice enough to help them out with that.

hehe yeah, that's what I heard from my freind too that i was not even open during that time.
but I bought like a few photos and the blue shirt. Lot of people in there taking pictures in there as well.

What is it with you guys and those shirts? I wasn't impressed with the shirt design...granted its more acceptable for casual wear...but I'm no medium ><.

yeahm I put earlier I got the shirt and a few picture sets.

If you are talking numbers saburo...less than last time...but they knew it was happening cause it wasn't during a very vacatony time... I believe the FC tour themselves calculated it at like 400 people based on the seats at the shell.

I was talking to a co-worker this morning and it turned out SHE was workin' the temp store last week. Man everybody works for Da Kine Up Front!
So I guess we can all meet up at the Plaza this coming November, where everybody knows your name.

A friend of mine also went to the store at the Plaza (http://morningberryz.vox.com/library/post/morning-musume-in-hawaii-fan-club-tour-merchandise.html) last week and scored a LOT of stuff.
I remember we went to one of these temp stores and were amazed at this anonymous gal from Japan who was spending hundreds of dollars of stuff, gobs of stuff. We figured she was a broker for some greedy online auctioneer.
As you can see, my friend ain't THAT far behind. And he's keeping EVERYTHING!

Just watched this and it was pure win! The solo's were amazing Ai LinLin and Eri's performances were really awesome and everyone else did a great job too. JunJun Mitsui and Koharu really impressed me with theirs also you can really see their improvement.
Also the games were hilarious. There was a lot of instances where Koharu just cracked me up. She was really kinda the focus with all her screw ups and antics. I bet the other girls were getting annoyed but it was hilarious to me. Somebody once said on one thread that they thought Koharu had ADD and after watching this I think I agree lol.
