Wow, that's an evil piece of software. Thanks for the warning.
But I wonder how the author can get away with this. Surely what he's doing is illegal no matter where you are.... right?  :O

Whatever, that jerk can encrypt whatever files he wants, he wouldn't get a cent of my money. I'd rather lose the files than give him what he wants.

Well, now that you know about the threat it won't even come to this.

And important files should always be backed up anyway. Even if your PC is 100% protected, you could still have a hardware failure or a stupid little brother / sister....

Damn i'd  hunt them down if they encrypt my whole H!P collection.
