I was just talking to my sister who lives with her husband in West Virginia, USA and she told me a story. She spends a lot of time on the local forum for the area she lives in to keep updated on what's going on and today she was really disturbed by something she came across there. She read that a six year old had drowned in the river nearby last week and as a result, someone had posted a warning sign there at the river. They had included the warning in both English and Spanish. In response to it on the forum, someone said "Who cares if some illegals drown?" and since then the Spanish on the sign has been spray-painted over.
... Meanwhile, back at the core point of putting up the sign in the first place, a six year old drowned. Six year olds have no control over whether or not they're illegal. What an asshole.
Edit: Actually, more accurately, he said "Who gives a rats ass if some illegals drown?". Which just makes him even more warm and fuzzy.

That's horrible. I mean, it was just a kid. Not his fault.
I think America is going to hell. Ppl just cannot get along. It's ridiculous.

Unfortunately for every sane, sensible, rational-headed person in the world, there's about 5 idiots to componsate. And the majority seem to live in America.
I know it's not something to dismiss easily, but just try to. He's clearly an asshole using the internet as a front. I guarantee he wouldn't have the balls to say it to anyone in person, but with the anonimity of the internet, it makes it a whole lot easier for people to act like idiots.

The guy was referring to the fact that the warning sign should not have a spanish translation, that's why that moronic SOB said that, he was not referring to the kid that drowned but to future immigrants drowning...as I said somewhere before, when it comes to people I wish we were all color-blind,because I personally don't see races or nationalities, I see people...but some have such small brains that the concept escapes them

A lot of American's have this unorthodoxed mindset about the whole illegal issue, and they ask themselves this:
Are illegal immigrants more harmful to the united states than beneficial?
With the growing number of illegal immigrants in the united states, this question is becoming more and more pertinant than ever. Paying little or no taxes, sending millions back to their former country, severing themselves from american culutre and creating a sub culture, crime are major problems among illegal immigrants. Is it worth it for the hard work they provide for so little pay?
From a political point of view- and as a democrat:
I think if all illegal immigrants who have a criminal history/ stole or falsified a social security # or are on welfare and illegally so, it should be found out and they should be deported by police escort, so what if the gov has to pay for it.
The government has places where they can go and get help even if they are illegal, which is actually against the law, which makes no sense.
If they violate rules by making it harder for everyone else, no matter what country they are from, they should be forced to go. Even if they married and are considered legal after doing illegal activities as listed above.
A line needs to be drawn hard and justice should prevail. Help those who have done nothing wrong and are contributing to America, kick out those who are violators of America. It's that simple.
