I didn't know that Akihito's daughter got the boot from the palace once she got married.  Now she has to learn how to drive and microwave bentos purchased from Lawson.

Well, Naruhito is still crown prince. I don't know if this affects to the succession to the throne at all. Women can't succeed to the throne in Japan iirc. They're changing the law though.
