In the latest sign of their friendly ties, US President George W Bush gave Japanese Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi a surprise gift of a Segway electric scooter on Wednesday and urged him to take a spin. (http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=72463)

it could have been worse.

It's supposed to be impossible to fall off a segway due to the way their balanced.
