Title: Bernie Mac has passed away

(CNN) -- Comic actor Bernie Mac died early Saturday of complications from pneumonia, according to a family member and his publicist. He was 50. (http://www.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/Movies/08/09/bernie.mac/index.html)


Man, I had just got a news alert about this..... man.....

The Mac-man is going to be missed something terribly, he was easily one of the best in the business.
Its most definitely a very sad day.

My most sincere condolences to Bernie Mac's family.

May he rest in peace..... God Speed to you, Bernie Mac. :prayers:

He was definitely a very talented man and I enjoyed watching him a lot. RIP Bernie. My prayers to your friends and family.

This sucks! :cry: He was a great guy.
The worst part is his age. He was by no means "old" and it's scary to see someone die at 50. Which is close to my parents' age. :(

I just read it today..I'm in shock

I loved his comedy..we lost a great comedian..

He was one of the true Kings of Comedy

That was unexpected. He really was one of the finest comedians, my prayers go out to his family.

SHOCKER. I heard he went to the hospital earlier this week, then rumors...but DAMN.

RIP Bernie Mac :(

Truly one of the best comics out there. I watched the Bernie Mac show all the time, esp. the reruns.
