TENNIS players have their elbows, housemaids have their knees and athletes have their feet. Now users of the world's most popular digital music player may have their own affliction - iPod thumb. (http://news.scotsman.com/health.cfm?id=2230532005)

Except the chicks, but I'll let them describe their own sorts of hand cramps.

Sounds sorta like the "Nintendo thumb" epidemic that was going around in the early 90's when kids were getting sore thumbs from playing so much Nintendo.

Track and Field and other sports games were from hell. I wonder if my nintendo controllers are still stained with blood.

The iPod joins a growing list of hi-tech gadgets linked to possible health problems. Most recent is "Blackberry thumb", an RSI-like complaint linked to obsessive use of the portable e-mail and phone computer. There is also PlayStation thumb, said to afflict those who spend too much time on games consoles.
I already have the PlayStation thumb (and perhaps [console name here] thumb) ....so I might as well aquire the Ipod thumb to complete the collection too...XD I probably already have it....Being an Ipod user for more than 15 months.
