An official announcement with further details will most likely appear on the Shugo Chara event 9/20. The new unit will do the opening for Shugo Chara during October.
A rumored member lineup is: Maeda Yuuka, Saho Akari, Wada Ayaka, Komine Momoka
Another one: Ogawa Saki, Wada, Sainen Mia, Komine, Arai Manami, Maeda Irori, Saho (An additional note to this is that all 7 eggs will finish their training after the upcoming concert, but Sainen isn't appearing so it does seem a bit weird.)

Ah now that you mention it, the source only states "Maeda", which I automatically assumed would be Yuuka. As much as I want it to be her, I'm afraid it'll kill the relationship between Kanon and her if she gets another unit. :lol:
Oh, and while it might not say much, it's a highly credible source so I'd actually say the roster is final.

They should not do this with buono!. I guess opening theme is a great way to get some attention of a single. i think ending themes people can't pay attention, so, this new unit will sing shugo chara's new opening. i think this will be bad for buono.
Ok that i really love that Haropro eggs will do something better but... i really love buono! -_- if they want to do a new unit, do to another anime.

hope is a new group and not only a unit for one single... i think there are many eggs and if they don't give them a chance then they are going to leave so i think is about time to start showing their talents and i think this is a good way.

Anonymous poster on 2ch, though he went trip on list post. He posted a message 8/25 saying a new egg unit will be announced in the next couple of days (with no reactions), a thread with proof of the announcement showed up the next day, and shortly after the same person posted the member lineup.
I'm not sure what board the person was from, though.

If you click on the animated icons, more exactly the middle left heart and right-side diamond there are two messages from supposedly the members. Sounds like 3 persons to me, and I'm quite positive I'm hearing at least Kanon and/or Ogawa.

but as you can see I was either too late or too early. It was pretty empty... only some really young kids were in one corner doing or getting something (for 500 yen "entrance fee") so I didn't want to wait there for something to happen, nor did I want to buy shugo chara merchandise.

Shugo Chara Egg’s debut was held live.

A new unit has been announced on 20th of September in Tokyo, Odaiba Aqua Arena, where they debuted with live performance. It consists of Hello!Pro Eggs and called Shugo Chara Egg.
All the members of the new unit were announced only today, and they are Maeda Yuuka(13) from Hello!Pro Egg, Saho Akari(13), Wada Ayaka(14) and Fukuda Kanon(13). They performed opening theme song to new Tokyo TV series “Shugo Chara Dokii”(which starts on 4th of October and will be aired on Saturdays 9:30), which will also be their first debut single and which is called “Minna no tamago”(Everybody’s Egg), which will be on sale on 10th of December. “Although I was nervous, we started singing so that everyone could hear the song” –Maeda Yuuka said. All people present at the event were cheering them with their smiles.
A Hello!Project new unit was announced on debut live performance.

Today, on 20th of September in Tokyo - new four-person idol group unit called “Shugo Chara” was announced. Maeda Yuuka(13), Saho Akari(13), Fukuda Kanon(13) and Wada Ayaka were announced as members of this unit.
“Minna no Tamago”(Everybody’s Egg), which will come on sale on 10th of September is an opening theme for Tokyo TV new series “Shugo Chara Dokii” which will be aired at 9:30 and which will start on 4th of October. This announcement was taken with cries of joy, coming from about 1000 people present at the event.
Characters of “Shugo Chara” are only visible to those who believe in them and they appear in very cute red, blue, green and yellow outfits. By the way, Maeda turned around showing off her red skirt, - “My favourite part of this skirt is 11 hearts surrounding it”, - this act was appreciated by men in the audience with earthshaking shouts.

Oh and about Yuuka's skirt - she's talking about that silky-white material that is under the skirt - if you look closer, you can see that it is actually heart-shaped. Or at least that's what I saw.

I like Yuuka, I like Kanon and I don't mind Dawa & Saho, so it's not too bad for me. But where is Sakitty, I'm getting impatient, I know she gets lots of spotlight within the eggs, but she deserves more :P

Well since this is a full-scaled one-shot unit - I think the single will have PVs, Single V etc. Just like Buono!'s ones.
