Title: Austrian incest father charged with murder
Post by: RatBastich on November 13, 2008, 08:09:50 PM: VIENNA, Austria - An Austrian man accused of imprisoning his daughter for 24 years and fathering her seven children has been charged with murder, prosecutors said Thursday, contending one of the offspring who died in infancy might have survived if treated.

Josef Fritzl, 73, also was charged with rape, incest, false imprisonment and slavery, said the state attorney's office in St. Poelten, west of Vienna.

"Despite recognizing the baby's life-threatening situation, he deliberately decided not to intervene" and get the ailing infant to a doctor, prosecutors said in their 27-page indictment. (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27697159/)

Also one problem with having law in our world is that it takes forever to trail a person even everyone knows he/she did something wrong. If possible to just give common sense judgement this guy would be DEAD the next day he got arrested!

Post by: JDAckers on November 21, 2008, 08:06:00 PM: I agree with you, but it is one of our rights. This was headline news here not too long ago, so they seemed to have done it quite quick.
