MKB - Charisma kirei :heart:
MM - Resonant blue (best MM single since a long time)
Cute - Namido no iro and edo no temari uta II (cute songs are so cool :) )
High king - cinderella complex - great song :D

Melon Kinenbi - Charisma Kirei (gotta support my Melons<3)
Ongaku Gatas - Come Together (best OG single in my opinion. And not just because Inaba sings background. Honest!)
Morning Musume - Resonant Blue (It was touch choosing this or Pepper Keibu, but I think I liked RB more.)
Biyuuden - Nannimo Iwazuni I LOVE YOU (very emotional song to me. I'll miss you, Biyuuden<3)
Natsumi Abe - Screen (I enjoy this song. And I want those boots.)

2008 was definitely the year of Buono!. C\C was a overall good single if including the epic b-side, and Monkey Dance gets my vote just because of its energy during live performances.

Milky Way - Anataboshi (Catchy + KIKKA)
High King - C/C (come on. epic set up, epic dancing, epic song)
Berryz Kobo - Madayade (It's been stuck in my head since I've heard it)
Manoeri - Lucky Aura (So. cute. :heart:)
Screen and Renai Rider were close calls, too....

Buono! - Renai Rider - .... Not sure why I chose this one. XD It's catchy. I blame Pata for making all his piano versions. *goes watch on utube*
MM - Resonant Blue - Still listening to this song, which is always a good sign as I run through songs fairly fast.
Fujimoto Miki - Okitegami - It's Mikitty. Nuff said.
High-King - Cinderella Complex - I can't get over this song. I just want to play it over and over! :o And mmmm, Ai-chan. XD
MM - Pepper Keibu - Keeps me energetic while driving to work. XD And one I can do the hand moves for while driving. :ph43r:

Morning Musume - Resonant Blue - it's just a cool song and I haven't gotten sick of it after countless listens.
High-King - C\C (Cinderella Complex) - pretty much the same reason as RB.
Ongaku Gatas - Come Together - partially because it's OG and they can do no wrong in my mind xD I liked it much more the more times I listened to it.
Buono! - Lotta Love Lotta Love - usually, Buono doesn't impress me, but this (and Renai Rider) are rare exceptions.
Abe Natsumi - Screen - it's been a while since Nacchi came out with a song that wasn't kind of boring, and this one is really good.

It was so hard to choose only five, this was a good year for H!P in terms of quality of songs.
Loved all Buono!, all Berryz, all MoMusu, both MilkyWay, Koharu's Kirarin, Athena & Robikerottsu, all C-ute but FOREVER LOVE, and Miki's. Everything else I either don't follow/like well enough.
Morning Musume - Resonant Blue Really love a-side and b-side lots. Had a good PV and was somewhat of a new vein for MM to be taking.
High-King - C\C (Cinderella Complex) I love a-side. The PV and all it's multi-versions were awesome. Great song, dance and outfits. I only wish Eri was in it, mostly because it makes more sense if all the 'sisters' were in the group. Wasn't as fond of the b-side, but a-side out beats everything in every way.
Buono! - Gachinko de Ikou! Buono! has consistent positive results with their singles. This was my favorite until Lotta Love Lotta Love came into existence. Loved the way the girls looked from this one.
Berryz Kobo - MADAYADE Didn't like the a-side at first but love both tracks. (Monkey Dance was good too, but I prefer this a little more)
Buono! - Lotta Love Lotta Love IMO the best Buono single ever. I'm usually not too fond of their b-sides but I love this one more than the a-side which I love too much.
Special Note:
Had 'LALALA Shiawase no Uta' been a H!P/Wonderful Hearts single in which we had all the groups have their own version of the song as well as a together version I'd have it ranked up as the best. I really like that song, and C-ute version too but with how it was initially presented got my hopes up and kinda put a bit of an upset in my love. This is one of my favorite C-ute songs.

Kiss3, Renai Rider, and Lotta Love were all friggin cute and awesome, perfect for what they were for, and heavily addictive
Other votes went to Cinderella Complex (I love the Style) and Jingisukan
Close followers were Resonant Blue and Yuke Yuke
shit, I didn't see Forever Love, but I preferred the video for that now that I think about it XD

Let's see... One for Seishun! LOVE Lunch, one for Resonant Blue, one for Cinderella\Complex, one for Edo no Temari Uta II and one for FOREVER LOVE. That's five XD I would have voted for Buono! but I didn't like their singles as much as these.

Athena & Robikerottsu - Seishun! LOVE Lunch. Sooo cute, feels like Minimoni once again.
Morning Musume - Resonant Blue. I think the style in the a-side is THE style for the current line-up (though I don't want them them to be limited to that kind of songs).
High-King - C\C (Cinderella Complex). If only for the structure of the song, the a-side rocks. The b-side is my favourite this year.
C-ute - Edo no Temari Uta II. Catchy enough and interesting lyrics (and that's considering musicality > lyrics in my book :lol: ), only bad thing would be that it's too short.
Buono! - Lotta Love Lotta Love. All Buono songs this year have been good, so I'm just choosing the most recent single.

1) morning musume- resonant blue / like the mature vibe of it. only drawback is the leading singers.
2) milky way - anataboshi / fast paced cute stuff. nuff said

but man! Morning Musume only release 2 SINGLES! I almost didn't notice, since they were so active with many others, Singles concert in Spring, Asia Tour in Summer, Cinderella Musical in Summer, Resonant Live tour Autumn and now rehearsing for H!P WH for Winter 2009, then the Elder Club graduation concert in Spring '09 and their own concert tour Platinum 9 Disco. They have so much on their schedule.
