Kamei solo would be awesome. I really hope it'll be on there.
Other than that, I'm only looking forward to 'ame no furanai'. I hope it'll have JunLin's Chinese lines in it..

Both Neowing and e-hon seem to give the title as "Platinum 9 Disc" instead of "Disco".
Just to double-check, Google gives ~86,000 results for "Disc", and ~19,000 results for "Disco".

I love you 9th MM album. As far as covers go, these aren't that bad. And what little badness there is, is nullified by the girls and their total hotness.
I'm in awe of the beauty of the girls. Koharu looks really great with her hair like that. I'm amused by everyone and their curly locks.
I need HQ versions soon so I can ogle Risa better on that left cover. :wub:

This album will be released in Korea at the same time as in Japan. Usually there is a delay before Japanese works are released in Korea. Now the lucky Korean fans don't have to wait. :D

Kamei's song sounds pretty sweet.
My dislike with recent Musume is the keyboard sounds they use, such as the beginning of Naichau. Sounds like they're coming straight out of my 50 dollar casio keyboard. I don't know, it lacks something..
First thoughts:
01. Songs: don't like it. The rhythm is so annoying.
02. RB: We all know this one. Not a big fan, but I like it more than when it first came out.
03. Ame: Great song, but I'm kinda used to Ice Cream's version now :lol:. They included the Chinese lines in ths version, which is great. I have to say that the album version doesn't have the impact the live version had. The live version was a real tear jerker.
04. Take off is now: Same problems as the first song. Not my style.
05. Naichau: Pretty good.
06. Watashi: I like this song. Nice melodies and sounds. I'm not a Mitsui fan at all, but she did ok on this.
07. Guruguru: Nice high energy song. Nothing that special, but ok. Getting kinda bored with Koha though..
08. Mikan: I always liked this song, I still do.
09. Jounetsu: Vocal are good, but again the style doesn't appeal to me that much.
10. It's you: I like Sayu a lot, but the way she sings most parts is so annoying.
11. ONSA: still great.
12. Kataomoi: Very nice, love Kamei's voice.
13. KT: Best MM song ever, doesn't fit with the rest of the album at all. I think that's why it's the last song on the album.
Highlights:
Ame + Kataomoi are probably my favorites of the non-singles songs. Otherwise I gotta includde KT and ONSA as well.

It seems that JapanFiles.com have the entire album for downloads for $10.00. I think it's a great and cheap way for me to show my support, better than ordering the album and upcoming singles from japan and shipping it over to the US, which cost like $30-50 US dollars. of course I wouldn't be able to have all the goodies that came with the CD, like the booklet and DVD, etc...
but before I decide to do so, I just wanna know about all the other sites that I can download Morning Musume/H!P singles and albums online. And which one would really help support them.
and cost would also be a factor, cuz I want to get the best price and still supporting MoMusu. And also something that also help promote Morning Musume, like this many downloads on this site and help with their exposure throughout the net and here in America.

wth? This version sound waaay to overdone. We know it's an epic song they don't have to try to raise the epic level more with EPIIIC~ music.
I can barley hear Jujuns solo over the loud music. T__T

I loved this song and still. But it's only thrilling in the beginning.
When the second verse starts I'm bored, it's everything over again. =S this might be my problem though. =P

Do not like it. IMHO it's really boring. And might not even do as a album-split up. So as a group song it's a shame. =S
Havn't listen to Kamei solo much yet so I can't say if it's bad (but it sound somewhat boring)
I think the only track that satisfy me (and I'm usally not this picky) is Watashi no Miryoku ni Kizukanai Donkan na Hito. Mitsui! You rule this album!
(Again, the girls are perfect. I blame the songs)
Guruguru JUMP & Take off is now are pretty nice. 8)
Also only 8 songs? If they are going to have that many splits there should be more tracks. ><

this album tries to be generate a cool mature sound, that i think is not associated with the overall MM image. you would think that the new songs would be more happy-go-lucky type of songs to compensate the past 'serious' singles. nonetheless, the overall impression of the album is a nice result of trying out the cool and groovy side of MM. BTW , Songs reminds me of Maki's 'how to use loniless'. The build up , the style of arrangement, etc. probably the same arranger.

I listen to the album and like it for the most part. Not much to add about the known songs on the album except that I still like it.
-I do like Eri's solo, it sounds cute and refreshing, relaxing, even more so with Eri's voice. She's really improved with her vocals. I LOVE IT! her voice seems to really fit this kind of music, but I do hope she would improve more and be able to sing different kinds of music, so that she's could challenge herself and be even better than before. But I do love cheerful, upbeat songs like this songs.
-I also like SONGS and Take Off is NOW!, it's different and kind of have a hip-hop feel to it. though not exactly a great Hip-hop piece I would say, but it's fun to listen to and stuff.
-Jounetsu no Kiss wo Hitotsu, is a nice r&b piece. I like it. I think it's similiar feel to Do It! Now, but better.
-Watashi no Miryoku ni Kizukanai Donkan na Hito is a fun song, really cheerful and genki. I would like to listen to it, only I'm not quite estatic over Mitsui Aika's voice.
-GuruGuru Jump is really poppy, genki and fun. but I'm not really a fan of Kusumi Koharu's voice. LinLin is good as always, and JunJun is okay.
-Michishige Sayumi's It's You is a nice song and it seems she had improved a little, but I don't think her voice suits this kind of song. for the song itself... I don't hate it, but I'm not liking at the moment anway...

JapanFiles has a direct contract with UFA for all of the H!P artists on our website, so royalties go directly back to UFA for all digital sales.
Plus, if sales are good enough, that helps us move forward with USA releases of CDs and other H!P merchandise.
Whether through our website or CD purchases from overseas, please support these artists in any way you can.

I'll probably gonna spend more there (when I can) so I can support them. So far, fan support for the H!P digital catalog has been really strong. Digital sales are the most important part of making a CD release happen. If sales stay high, we may be able to pull off a CD release before Anime Expo.
Our official H!P merchandise store is in the planning stages now. We'll have an update on that around the time of Anime Expo as well. (*And our staff REALLY wants those phone straps!)
Thanks to all of you for your support of MM and H!P. JapanFiles has a direct partnership with them (no middlemen) so they are really paying attention to see how the fans in the west support them in these next few months!

I listened to the whole disc yesterday and like it! here's my picks.
Eri's solo song is one of my favorites on the album. She really can sing!
Take off is NOW!, Ame, and Guruguru are a close second for me. I liked Sayu's solo..she can sing, the music was off is all
Other than that, definitely a album worth getting

Ok well I just listened to a fan recording of Kousui and Koharu sang the first half of the song and then JunJun sang the second half. It sounded good.
