Without getting too sycophantic about it, it's seriously one of the coolest places on the interwebs. It's the only place where I can talk to like minded people on Rika's booty to serious debate or from Ladyloving to video games. It's a friendly, tight and thankfully, idiot-free community full of guys and girls that define 'too cool for school'. And there's not many places in the world where you can say that.

Because I like how things are done here. Despite being an incorrigible lurker everywhere else, JPH!P has always made me want to participate in one way or another. :theking Everybody here welcomes and treats you as a friend, and that's just awesome. :twothumbs

I love the people here. Everyone's real cool and there are no big assholes, except this one (http://forum.jphip.com/index.php?board=81.0). Even after moving past H!P, I still love to come post here. I am definitely going to continue spreadin' the lady love. When I first started, it was Japanese idols all day, then the good ol' US of A, now it's the lovely ladies of the UK. I love 'em all. I'M GOIN' ALL AROUND THE WORLD! :P
I'll even spread some manlove. (no homo)
I hope to see more love in those two forums and the Red Light. Just more of everything. More people, more talking. It's cool to see more names among the regulars as well as more discussion. Outside of my favorite spots, I hope for the whole forum to continue to grow and for everyone to have a spankin' good time. :jerk:

Even though I know I'm just restating what everyone else is saying, JPHiP is my home on the interwebz. I've met so many wonderful ppl here and found my inner perv. XD But really, everyone is so friendly and welcoming, it's hard to not love it all. It's also a one-stop shop for just about everything. Why go anywhere else? :grin:
Only thing I can't wait for is my 18th birthday for perv status. :lol: But all I can really ask for everyone to continue doing their thang and stuff like that. We've come this far and sky's the limit.

JPH!P is my haven, a place where I can vent about shit without anyone judging me. A place where my leadership means something. A place where people from all over the company enjoy my company as much as I love theirs. Where the size of the world is completely irrelevant, friends are friends no matter where they are. Thanks to JPH!P, I've learned to eliminate a lot of negativity from my life, and concentrate on the more important things - things that will make life more worthwhile to live. I can't believe that I used to be obsessed with petty crap years ago, when I had no real direction in my life. Now I know that shortcuts don't work, and you have to embrace every moment and live it to its fullest.
I'm glad to be back on the radio, I'd love to see some more participation in that area, see some more non-North Americans take the helm and get on board. I'd like to see myself get into the art of reading on a more regular basis, I know I'm going to need it if I want to achieve my goals. And where's that gym membership I've been looking for?

JPH!P is life! Heck, I even open this page first instead of my mailbox when I arrive in the office.
There may be some conflicts and misunderstandings but at the end of the day, the bonds and friendships still prevail. And that's what makes JPH!P unique; you become part of a family the moment you join.

But yeah, this place is my other home. It's a place where I can speak my mind without having to deal with too much b/s. I've met so many amazing people here, there's no way I can just leave. Even as my tastes and preferences change I find myself coming here regularly. I'm not too much into H!P anymore, but I actually tried to be more active in other sections. Though I go to other places for certain info, this is the only place where I am a regular user. Personally I don't think the content has anything to do with why I'm here, cause frankly I can get them other places. It's all because of the people.
My only expectation is to meet many of you crazy people later in the year.

Like everyone else has been saying, it's all about the family here. I'm going on my third year because I love it here. Even when I switch fandoms or drift away from the forum, it's somewhere I can come back to and feel like I'm still welcome.

Why the hell not? PERVERTS are family :) (as long as it's not creepy family)! People are funny, nice, and generous- best of all, it's not clique-y.
I'm happy the way things are now, especially since K-ent and other international entertainment is being incorporated :heart: don't gotta go nowhere else to get updated and have a fun and serious discussion. I don't want to get any bullshit from people because the way I talk or how I say it! As long as I ain't hurtin anybody, it's all good.

Like everyone else has said, JPH!P is a family. I'm still relatively new here (okay, I joined two years ago, but I feel new. XD), but everyone has been so nice and it really does feel like a family here, moreso than most of the other boards I post at. JPH!P is one of the few boards that I feel really comfortable posting at (normally I'm really shy, so I don't post a lot until I get more comfortable with the people.). :)

Ack, forgot the goal stuff. XD My goal is to become less shy and start joining the IIRC Chat. Like I said, I'm really shy, so I almost never chat with people. Expectations: Not sure.

I guess I can say it here as well..it's really a family i never had. A family who listened, but I also felt like I hurt them as well with my problems. but then, i realized that the people here actually listened to what i have to say. they really have also been fun to me, even if i felt horrible, at least i knew i had you guys to listen to me.

There's just no other site that embodies the feeling of community like JPH!P. This forum truly represents family and friendship beyond physical boundaries. Despite the diversities of fanship, we can always come together with respect, understanding, and compassion. I don't think I could be anywhere else for another year than here at JPH!P.
My favorite IIRC moment: When we all made Odango cry when we supported her show's anniversary. That's love and family.
My goal: To try and make the PERV forum more active and fun. And post more. And try to get to know more of our new members better.

When ever I'm having a crappy day I just think about being able to come home and vent in the frustration thread.
When something awesome happens, I get excited about sharing it in the positive thread.
And when I'm in a crazy moody and being all wacky, I go right to the IRC or the postwhoring thread.
Coz people here actually care... and even when they don't, they pretend to and what more can one ask for :P
Just the simple fact that so many people have called this place family says more than any long rambling crap that I type can I! :heart: I've never been on a forum before where everyone is so close and there is very rarely any issues that Mods have to step in about :heart:
And the Pervs, OMG THE PERVS! I swear I was a lot more innocent before coming here *cough* As stupid as it sounds, I now feel like a my eyes are open a lot wider and I know myself better than I ever have before. The people here have honestly reinstalled my faith in mankind and I've met some very special people to me (they know who they are :heart:), especially one who has helped keep my head above water when I need it :ptam-kiss:
Just in case I haven't made myself seem weird enough yet, if it was legal to marry a forum, I would be jumping at the chance :P

As for my goals this year, I really wanna get back into the swing of things! Start reading all the fics again and be on top of things there ...and maybe try to write some more myself and revive the perv fanfic section. I wanna get my arse my active around the whole place, stop lurking so much and start postwhoring more here in the Joint and for the SNSD gals & hell even the LLF! Finally, my small, hopefully easy, goal is to reach 2500 by the end of 09!
Most of all, I wanna make my way to JPH!P world tour meet up, although that probably won't be this year.
Oh and I wanna see a pic of Wolfy/Sunnybunnybear (aka limitbreaker02) but that one is out of my control... or is it? :twisted:

I'm still fairly new here, but I have to say, I haven't seen any other place where each and every member is so warmly welcomed. The generel feel of the forum is so warm and lovin' it's impossible to not jump in! All the interesting topics are pretty much covered here, yet the forum doesn't feel huge or impersonal, like some big forums do. I also love all the activities and fun topics on H!P Crapola and hope that it will keep active. This place does indeed feel like a big family.
My goals for next year are to contribute more, start reading the fic section (maybe write something myself?) and have as much fun as I did this year!

JPH!P is like my second family, second home. Here's the place where I can talk about everything I love with everyone I love. There's lots more people I haven't talked to, but I love them anyway. :D
GoaL: To be more active and outgoing here. I usually don't speak out, even in the IIRC. I pop in randomly here and there but I'm still scared to talk to everyone. :sweatdrop: I'm slowly getting there.

this is the best forum on the world and the best community, i enjoy this place no matter the language barrier... oh but i improved my english quite a lot and all thanks to the jphip program.
my favorites irc moments... lots of them, specially during the radio shows, another one must bethat epic fail in the trivia with those billions of negative points (very funny)

What grabbed at my heart was the shy guys - the most important thing is to make JPH!P as comfortable as possible. Though I'm a come and go type of member, I stick around because I like the atmosphere of this place. On a lot of forums, it's almost taboo to say a release sucks, the idols are hot, and so on. I really dig how honesty is not (socially or otherwised) punished and you don't have to be a mindless drone who loves everything [insert group here] does without getting a verbal lashing about not being a real fan. Also, the admins of the site rock. They're pretty on top of things and do their job well, from what I've seen. :twothumbs
