Ayu no Deji Deji Nikki 2000-2009 is a special book commemorating Ayumi Hamasaki's decade-long collaboration with top fashion magazine ViVi. This B4-sized 168-page photobook collects Ayumi's 102 monthly "Deji Deji Diary" entries in ViVi from 2000 to 2009, and revisits the diva's ten-year history with the magazine including news, photos, magazine covers. There's also a "Deji Deji Diary" ten-year special long interview and highlight quotes from Ayumi's past Vivi interviews.

平成の歌姫が文字通り“一肌脱いだ”１０周年記念本が、発売前に重版決定という異例の事態に、うれしい悲鳴を上げている。初版４万部の予定が、予約だけで３万部を完売。急きょ、５万５千部でスタートするカリスマ健在ぶりを見せつけている。 この日公開した秘蔵の水着ショットは、プライベートでも訪れるハワイのビーチで撮影したセクシー過ぎる純白のビキニ姿だ。１１日からスタートする全国ツアーのために鍛え上げた抜群のプロポーションを惜しげもなく披露し、挑発するように脇チラまで大サービスしている。 同書の製作期間は丸１年。あゆが細部までセルフプロデュースし、ビキニやストールまで、今回のために作成した“あゆブランド”となっている。Ｂ４変形サイズの全１６８ページと大型サイズのため、縮小版の刊行も検討中という。

また、女性ファッション誌「ＶｉＶｉ」で連載中の「Ａｙｕのデジデジ日記」も第１回となる００年９月号から８年６カ月分を収録。特徴的なファッションとトークで“ファッションリーダー”と呼ばれて、成長していった姿に、もう一度迫る。 ９８年のデビューから丸１０年が経過。激動の歴史を振り返る１冊に、あゆも「懐かしい思い出たちがたくさん詰まった１冊。素敵な思い出たちを思い出してもらえたら」と読者の手に届くのを楽しみにしている。
