Tsunku has announced a new Egg unit on his blog. He has not yet decided on a name. The members are Wada Ayaka, Maeda Yuuka, Fukuda Kanon, and Ogawa Saki.

(If you didn't notice, it's basically Shugo Chara Egg -Akari +Ogasaki. While I'm happy for the other Eggs, I really like Akari and am now a bit sad for her, especially since my impression about Ogasaki changes every day - on the one hand she's cute and has good stamina singing, on the other her voice isn't really that great, kinda whiny actually, and her personality does little for me)

Totally awesome news. The chosen members were chosen before-hand by Tsunku, but it wasn't announced to them until the last MC at today's concert. :lol: Yuukarin was the only one teary eyed.
The unit only consists of four members at the moment, but as Tsunku watches their lessons/concerts/rehearsals he will either decrease or increase the member count.

...BUT ANYWAY I'm happy that there's gonna be Eggs doing a major debut and now that Ayabie said that the members might still change I'm not gonna be too emo about it. YEAH!!
These members are going to be promoted to official members, right??
edit: OK SORRY STILL TALKING ABOUT OGAWA I mean of course it was obvious that she would be debuting sooner or later since she's the Egg that's been pushed at concerts a lot and she does have potential etc. blah blah. But because these members were so Shugo Chara, of course I noticed Akari missing first and that's what I reacted to. LOL

I was wondering when an Egg unit would be announced now that Elder Club is gone. This is a super awesome unit! I'm so happy that it has Yuukanon and DAWA! No Akari is sad, but she might still be added XD And I was wondering when Ogasaki would debut!

I do like Ogasaki and DAWA though, so good for them! Hopefully we get to see some more awesome eggs join in the future. Like Sengoku... Or Morisaki... or Aoki Erina!! :heart:

Yay new Egg unit! I like how the eggs units are composed of girls who seem to be close friends, these are the same girls who are usually together on the pics in their respective blogs.
But poor Akari got shafted :cry:
I hope she gets to be in unit with Sengoku, Sekine or Kikka... :lol:

I hope this leads to increased competitiveness within the Eggs, that's part of what made H!P so much fun.
You know, they could add Nocchi to the group and it could be like a mini Morning Musume (with a slightly less crazy age gap XD). They already have a Fukuda as it is, so it's a good start XD Though if this did happen, I'd like this mini Momusu to be more entertaining.

the only thing about i can tell so far is that by judgubg the picture Yuuka is the leader, or maybe the unit is yuuka + the rest... not sure since i'm not even sure if those are the actual outfits but is obvious that Tsunka likes Yuuka and will promote more.

if kanons still in minimoni and mini moni is in H!P then it wouldnt make sense to have kanon in NGP.... it is only after all an indies single....

@Blu-Cherri: It's nice of you to look at it positively, but it just doesn't make any sense.
- Mano Erina and C-ute were both under UFW during their indie period
- They had no reason to do this (http://xs.to/xs.php?h=xs140&d=09234&f=hpimg1035565.jpg), and remove it a few hours later if it didn't mean something
- The people who worked on Ama no Jyaku are TNX staff
- UFW are too busy pushing forward Manoeri, and it will probably last another year
- As it is now they're practically the successor to The Possible (All members were Eggs and under Tsunku's management during their indie period)
I don't know what to think. Disproving this is the fact their official page is still H!P and the possible member changes in the future.

Tsunku did say they debut september time originallly, this isn't their real debut.

Basically the TNX site was updated with the release info, and in this case GFR being the publisher is huge -> The news makes it to the public followed by confusion -> The single disappears from the site a few hours later

It's not like the TNX website maintainers never make mistakes...
Also, remember TNX does not equal NGP. TNX is a production company owned by Tsunku under the umbrella of the Up-Front Holding. In fact TNX produces many UFW releases, look at the credits of the Morning Musume albums from the last several years for example. It is entirely possible that TNX now handles the production and marketing of Up-Front's indie singles. A little internal UF restructuring, so to speak.
Note that I speak only of production and marketing. Management is entire other matter. Unless otherwise can be construed the members of S/mileage are still with their current management agency (Up-Front Agency?).
It is good to know that there are different companies performing different tasks to create the products "idol" and "CD/DVD release".
So a release suddenly appearing under the Good Factory label does not mean that the artist has changed management or is now part of an other brand (H!P vs NGP).

The NGP girls use TN-MIX to release their singles according to the tnx website.
The single is just using GFR like buono use pony canyon.

I mean yeah maybe in a year or so he might move them to NGP but if they're successful it won't make a difference and if they're not that successful then...well I don't see it making much difference either...
