Title: BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger (Out 6/30)
Post by: limitbreaker02 on May 08, 2009, 09:00:03 AM
From the makers of GUILTY GEAR comes the US release of BlazBlue!

BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger - Character Trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oqg7RRvU5oU#lq-lq2-hq-vhq)

Just damn beautiful. Consider this pre-FRICKIN-ordered.

Speaking of preorders, the first run of the game is already the Premium (or Limited or Collector's) edition which includes a two-disc original soundtrack that contains 48 tracks by Guilty Gear’s Daisuke Ishiwatari and a bonus video disc containing basic tutorials, expert advice, character-specific strategies and some other stuff.

...and if you preorder online at Gamestop/EBGames you can get a 32 page artbook too.

Sucks that it comes out on June 30. I'll be headed to AX by then. Ahh well, I did the 2 day shipping option so I'd have it when I get back.

Heaven or Hell duel 1 let's rock!

Being a Guilty Gear fan, I cant wait.  I've seen videos and this game looks promising, consider it a pre-order as well  :thumbsup

BlazBlue is coming to the PSP with exclusive content. Released in NA in March. Announcement trailer inside (http://kotaku.com/5449251/blazblue-portable-strikes-stateside-in-march)

Ok my interest has piqued up quite a lot after hearing this. The PSP exclusive content makes it look like a worthy addition to have, and it looks right up my street. Quick question for anyone that has it, is it rather easy to pick up and play? I think I can hold my own in Virtua Fighter 5 and Tekken ok, and for someone who's never played Guilty Gear, is it any harder than those two or is it like VF, where you eventually just grow into the game?

^Depending on your character you might have it easy to pick up and play but some are just bizarre to use. Also if you're a VF and Tekken player well this might not be your type of game. It's a great game if anything it's my fave fighter if you haven't tried it give it a try it's pretty good. The PSP version looks good for the extra modes but it'll probably be harder to play just like most fighters with the psp's d pad and stick.

Continuum Shift seems awesome!! Too bad it's not going to be released in Europe. Ima have to import it. I bought my copy of Blazblue during my holiday in the US. Such a great game ^^

It's not? Damnit, I was looking forward to trying Hazama out. Ah well, I guess I'll have to import it as well.

Well.. That's what I read. Idk if it's true. I hope not since I like the game a lot and it would be much easier if I could just go to the store and get it. I guess we'll see.
