The Metal Slug Thread!

Metal Slug is a series of run and gun video games first released on Neo-Geo arcade machines and game consoles created by SNK. It was also ported to other consoles, such as the Sega Saturn, the PlayStation, the Neo-Geo Pocket Color and more recently, the Game Boy Advance, PlayStation 2, Xbox, Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS. There is also an anthology of the first 7 games in the main series (including Metal Slug X) available for the Wii, PlayStation Portable, and PlayStation 2.

I loved playing it on NEO GEO ROMs with unlimited lives and just slice and dice.

I'm kinda weird with this game. I've always wanted to play and buy them, but haven't much. I played most of the way through 1 or 2 at an anime convention and played almost all the others in the collection of on arcade emulators. I always want to buy it whenever I see it, but never do. It's always fun whenever I play, but I don't know why I never actually pick it up.

Not too familiar with the characters, just the cutie with glasses (Fio?). I've seen some fun fanart around in random places. That's part of what brought my attention to the game.

I loved playing this in the arcade.  I got MS for the DS.  Maaaaaaaaaaannn... that shit's hard!!  XD  (Or I just really suck)

I like the Metal Slug games but they are so fucking hard sometimes  :lol:

But that is what makes them fun

fuckin love metal slug. i can waste fucking money playing that shit in the arcade just to beat it... fuck the developers for making such and epic game
