Saw VI is the sixth installment in the Saw film series. The film, which began shooting on March 30, 2009, will be released in theaters on October 23, 2009. Saw VI is directed by Kevin Greutert, who has been the editor on all the past Saw films to date. Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan, the writers for both Saw IV and V, have returned to write Saw VI.

Well done! The franchise recovered after the fourth and fifth movie (quite plain imo)
it has some interesting twists :)
though when the credits started, I was like "WTF?! I thought this one was going to be the last!"  but as I've heard, they are going to release two more movies, and probably the seventh one is going to be on 3-D.

But well, nothing official I guess.
(it's just me or are they expanding the franchise until the actor who player Dr. Gordon accepts to appear?)

7 will be the last one.  Shotgun carousel... sucks to be on that ride.
