McDonald's Corp., the world's largest fast-food company, has added rice burgers -- fried beef slices served between two pressed rice cakes -- to its menu in Singapore in a bid to appeal to local palates. (http://money.cnn.com/2006/01/03/news/international/mcdonalds_rice.reut/)

we´ve always had rice dishes from McDonald´s in the Philippines, if there wasn´t any, I doubt McDo would be as popular.
those rice burgers sound good :bounce:
-
sound tasty to me too! If they ever gonna have it in HK I will for sure try it
-
lol arian, I dont usually buy my rice orders in Mcdo but ang ating pambansang take away, Jollibee :D - So Senor Bee! :D
haha, Jolibee! I love both places pretty much equally though, lol! some foods taste better in one place compared to the other.

Call me a skeptic but it is actually more of an effort by McD's to "coax" business away from Mos Burger rather than appeal to local palates. :P

Now, does that Mos burger description not remind you of something that you just read in Boxy's post? :D

anyone in the Vancouver BC area (or intend of visiting Vancouver?). you MUST go to Vera's Burger Shack.
*drool*
a description for one of the burgers I remember from their menu:
"Double cheese, Double Bacon, Double Patties, Double Bypass"
my god that thing was good. I think it was called the "Vick" or something to that effect. I might be wrong... but whatever. all their burgers are freakishly good.

"Double cheese, Double Bacon, Double Patties, Double Bypass"
WTH is double bypass, I hope it hasnt got anything to do with heart diseases.

It probably does, considering the sheer amount of meat and bacon and cheese that would be in a burger like that.
