thats just sad, and I'm kinda wondering where a 14 year old gets $600?(if equal exchange 100Y=1dollar)

The article linked in the first post says:
"The boy, in his third year in a Tokyo junior high school, used money from the more than ¥100,000 he had saved from his allowance to make the payment, Kanagawa police said."

Good habits on saving money, but bad ones on spending money.
