'Tis the season for girl groups, and looks like there is a new group in town! HAM is ready to hit the grocery store stage with their debut track, "티티댄스 (T.T Dance)".
Multinational group HAM, which stands for 'Heart&Mind', will consist of four members, including a Chinese member! Seems like international members within groups are really becoming a hit in the Korean music industry. The new group released a music video teaser on the 14th which has been receiving quite a bit of attention.
Unlike the electronic sound style of this generation's girl groups, HAM's upcoming track "T.T Dance" will focus on an intense rock sound and addicting melody. It was also made known that the director of HAM's first music video has also directed music videos for popular artists in the past, such as Seo Taiji, Epik High, Wheesung, and SS501.
On a side note, HAM will make their appearance on the 16th via Mnet cable channel with an introductory program, Hello. We are the new group HAM, which will be a documentary of their daily life and pre-debut days. They are expected to release their debut album and music video simultaneously on the 23rd.

Anyone see the performance yet? It wasn't bad, they're good vocalists, its just that the song leaves a lot to be desired. Sound too jpop for me. Props to Vagabond190 on YT.

Hrm... at certain angles, the girl in the pink pants (or pink in general) reminds me of Rika/Rika's sister. :shocked

Also, I can't get over the title "T.T Dance" and when they sing the chorus because "titi" in Tagalog slang means penis.

Decided to check them out(Shi it's your fault ) even though i was weirded out by their name at the beginning.
I rather like the song. It's really different from the style going on in the kpop scene lately, kinda sounds like jpop like it was mentioned here . It still sounds like "I love Rock n roll" at the beginning.
Also good vocals and the girls are pretty cute.

At first I was like, "Oh sweet, it's like early Kara", and then it was like "NOOO WTF FOREVER LOVE SYNDROME NOOOO". :lol: It is even worse than Forever Love because I hate hearing awesome vocals being relegated to simple happy stuff like that.
But fuck, the quirkiness of this group might have won me over. Spam can? Mortal Kombat? Random jump-ins with corny dance, therefore acknowledging corniness of said dance? It's almost like they're trying to parody girl groups. I love it!
And come on. "Teetee dance" is such a ridiculous phrase. Not to actually pronouncing an emoticon in a song name. Their producers are geniuses.

Did they go to Canada to shoot this MV or something? I love how the bday party scene was like, "Surprise, there's TWO other people here!!" I'm gonna feel bad for these kids if they don't get some better songs. They're not as vocally strong in this one compared to the titty dance, but they've still got the ability I'm sure.

This group is pretty awesome. lol
Everything is super cheesy and cheap, and their overall talent is fairly mediocre compared to most k-pop, but it's charming in its own way. The music is actually pretty good, too.
They do remind me of old school Kara a bit.
I could totally understand why they aren't more popular. lol But lots of good music isn't. :P

They've broken up :( Last year or the year before I saw one of the members debuting in another (very small importance) girl group so that's when I figured HAM was over...
