Title: Stuff we found on E-Bay
Post by: Dizzy on January 12, 2006, 06:09:46 AM
So I got back from my GFs house today and I was about to set up my "alarm" (aka my TV).  So Jay Leno was on and I normally don't watch it but it had a segment coming up called "stuff we found on E-Bay" so I was like, what the hell why not.  Now it's a list of things they found on E-Bay and the audience would guess if they were sold or not.  Only 2 really surprised me...

X-Box 360 Premium Bundle Empty Box sold for $810.00USD

I'm guessing the person who bought this just can't read because it was advertised as an empty box...imagine their reaction when getting it in the mail : P

Now this is just sheer stupidity and Leno swears it's true...I really don't believe it...

Someone sold an unwanted brussel sprout from an X-mas dinner...they don't know why it was left there, who left it, all they know is it was the last remaining brussel sprout...was it sold?  Oh yeah...for how much? $2437.03!!!  Seriously...if that's true I got a bunch of unwanted food...

well there are people who just buy random stuffs on ebay because they feel more cheaper or other reasons, but if what you said is true from the Jay Leno show, then omg... those people are dumbass.

By the way, it's not very related but I would like people to see this.

i think it was last year just after that limited edition crystal xbox was released that someone sold a "crystal xbox box" for lots as well. it was funny reading the feedback from the person who bought it. i'm sure you can imagine how pissed off they were after they recieved an empty box  :P

check this recent item out as well. a new ford anyone?

I've seen plenty of ebay auctions for xbox360 boxes and almost all of them had bidders. It's actually pretty common.

My friend sold his PS2 box for $100 on ebay when they first came out, and he was CLEARLY marking it as just being the box, in BIG BOLD LETTERS lol.

Mal once found a porno company for sale on ebay, and i saw a 'new folder' go for 1 million pounds on ebay.co.uk.  Winner to receive the 'new folder' on a cd-rom

Man, people really need to read the item descriptions BEFORE they bid/buy these things.
