I gave a shot at Scandal's cover of "Don't Say Lazy." The rhythm on the intro/bridge parts are kind of tricky to put on tab. Just watch the performance for the right timing. Otherwise, the song is pretty easy to play. Again, feel free to make corrections.

:O can you share the band scores? lol anyway i never tryed to play their song on the piano :O

anyway if you are intrested i can make tabs fot Koi Moyou and Koi no Kajitsu for guitar XD i do know these songs :P

EDIT: Hmm.... I dunno if Koi no Kajitsu was transcribed for the guitar, but Koi Moyou definitely was. Like I said, I don't play guitar, never have (but really would like to), but I'm sure the people who do wouldn't mind having a copy. I dunno, I'll let them speak for themselves. ;) Hrmm... well. I dunno if I'll be able to transcribe their songs for the piano, because they're super fast. And I only just began amateur transcriptions (Marionette, a slow song), so meh. :cry:

I wonder if that score book will be available on YesAsia or....something. =T

Man... I'm having no luck searching for SCANDAL sheet music on my own. I did find that Shoujo S score a while back, but.... I don't know where exactly to look. Most of my resources are for anime and Western scores. Lamb, you're lucky for finding what you did at all~ :shocked

I don't have any bass tabs, but the best way to learn the songs is to figure them out by yourself. It might be challenging at first, but in the end it really contributes to your overall skills.

-koi moyou (i love it, every time that i heard the song wanna play it on the bass u_ú)
-beauteen (realy cool)

from your list that're the songs that I knew. As soon as i can, i'm gonna to upload one by one (it will be great if you, as a beginner you are, play it from the easiest to the hardest)

as lambchopsuey says, the best way to learn to play bass is from ear, (or seeing how someone elese plays it) not from a tab. (only if you wanna know some arranges or minimal details)

I suggest everyone to try it! btw i'm working on your space ranger tab, just got a week full of work and paryts <3

i learned alot of SCANDAL songs watching their live preformance, but Sakura Goodbye bass tabs are preatty hard to get just by watching Tomomi playing it XD

- each bar how many beats?
- x3, x4, x1 means repeat finished then onto the nxt segment?
- every segment is all connected? no pause segment withiin the song?

i have tot of sumthing which is, since i suppose we have the same song duration which is (3:31) do u mind putting the timing at the point when tab is inserted and end? becuz like the ending and some other part it quite hard to come in

The pauses in the song is something that you must calculate by listening the song a few times. Space Ranger, in a exceptional case, have not pauses.

Play the bass some times without listening to the song, catch the rythm, and play it again. Listen the song without playing the bass, and try to remember how the arrangements sounds like. Practice and more practice, just ain't another way ;D

Wish you good luck, if I can make a decent video, will upload it so you can follow it.

I wasn't able to find any live performances to refer to, so I mainly went by the song and PV, and tried to see where her hand was, lol.

But as you can see, its kind of difficult. I think out of all SCANDAL's songs, Sakura Goodbye has the trickiest bass line. Listen to the song carefully for the transitions. shunkan sentimental bass isn't so hard. But I've got a lot of work and not enought time for make the tab, and a video. If no one post it until I can make some of this, for sure I'll be here helping ^^

I've just gotten back into playing guitar and i'm learning japanese (want to study my masters degree out there hopefully). Been trying to learn some Scandal songs on lead/rhythm guitar but can't find any decent tabs anywhere, the ones on Ultimate-Guitar.com seem a little off to me. I could be wrong though.

Got hold of a nice '62 Re-Issue Fender Japan Telecaster Custom in black...it's G.O.R.G.eous!

Anyways nice to be on the forums, you lot seem like really nice peeps. Look forward to learning some J-Pop/Rock v.soon :)

Gibson neck scale (24.75), instant Van Halen sound (doesn't come across in the crappy vid).. great guitar for tapping! The biggest downside is that the body wood is pretty soft, and since these are all old guitars, pretty much all of them have at least some dings on them. It's a real player's guitar, but most people hate the shape :nervous

I already recorded a bunch of vids today, and Shoujo S can get pretty boring to play so I couldn't be bothered to record a proper video today :lol:

There's a couple of mistakes that I didn't notice until after it was uploaded, and the Bass 'solo' isn't exactly what Tomomi plays; but rather what I thought sounded good, it's not too far off though.

It's easier now -a-days then it was in the cassette tape days. First, tune your guitar proper with an electric tuner. Next, using software player like winamp with DSP pitch change plugin like 'Pacemaker'. Play song and pick a few notes on the guitar. Adjust the pitch of the song so you are in tune(pacemaker remembers the settings for each song so you don't have to do it over again). Once, in tune find the scale it's in. The most important chords are I IV V

Working out the chords of song takes practice, but you can make the song sound as you actually hear it. Something that doesn't always happen when some one else writes down the chords. To save time, I like to start with other persons chords so I don't have to start from scratch, but I usually adjust it until I'm satisfied with how it sounds.
