CUSTOMS police have seized 3,000 "fighting" beetles from a Japanese tourist who tried to smuggle the giant bugs into Japan in his luggage, an airport official said Monday. (http://www.inq7.net/brk/2004/jun/28/brkoth_8-1.htm)

in japan they even have  arcades with beetle fights!

Ugh... the look of 3,000 giant beetle bugs squirming around in a small suitcase makes me queasy.
