...I can safely say the crazier the better.YEAH! FUCK REALISM!:P Me and my brother were talking about that last night. We to see totally crazy things instead of shit that's just trying to imitate real life. I kept getting more and more excited for it with every video I watched. The giant hair dragon, Heaven Stiletto Stomp (I don't know what it's actually called), and the fight on the Falling Clocktower were all really crazy. I've been sick of all these tough guy characters and dark, serious games for so long. I think her sexiness is there, but it's more done in a fun way, not so serious. The game is rated M and there is some brief nudity, but this seems different to me. Like when other games games have thrown in lots of gore, swearing, or nudity, it just feels like their only reason is to make the game tough or cool. I think I was going somewhere with this, but I got distracted and lost it.
V, the Japanese gonzo adult video maker behind titles like Would You Like To Get An Enema Until You Poop? and I Saw A Bowel Movement!, has dubbed Bayonetta as the "Number 1 Erotic Actress of 2009".
The site's official blog calls Bayonetta's revealing hair moves "erotic".
"This right here is high-grade peeping!" says staff blog. And if anyone knew high grade pooping, it would be V — make that peeping.
Any details on why the PS3 version is allegedly inferior? I remember when there were clear and decisive differences between the SNES and Genesis versions of multiplatform games. So I'm rather impressed at how well some of the third parties have made their multi-platform games indistinguishable between versions in this generation. It seems very sloppy to leave one version clearly inferior to another when the standard has been set so high.
Rather than attempting to merely recreate Devil May Cry's successes in Bayonetta, Kamiya's bravely stripped away all of the dead weight from his initial template, ruthlessly streamlining the form and function to deliver something at once fresh and familiar. It's also, unquestionably, the greatest game yet to spill from this niche.
With this pic, it's only a matter of time until I see Bayonetta hentai cropping up XD
I do hope it does well. Valkyria Chronicles had disappointing sales - I'd hate to see Sega resign itself to just pumping out more crappy Sonic knock-offs.Hey! I love Valkyria Chronicles..they're making a sequel this year :thumbsup
I can't get enough of her voice.
Right now my preferred weapon set is Scarborough Fair for Set A and the sword with the shotgun boots for Set B. I tried the whip but it keeps getting blocked from these new monsters I'm fighting.
While I'm playing both versions, one original and the other pirated,
Also, I really struggled on that Chapter! I've never died so much, those Grace and Glory enemy types are an absolute pain, especially the one who screams and stuns you.
I came across my first Alfheim portal in that Chapter too (which I'm sure I've missed others in earlier chapters), it's where you have a limited number of punches and kicks. Couldn't do it. I think I'll have the sword equipped next time and charge it up when I activate Witch Time.
You filthy pirate!! :P
I'm a massive fan of DMC4, it's one of the only 2 games I've got full Gamerscore for, but even I'll say that Bayonetta, at 5 Chapters in, is crazier than the whole of DMC4. I mean, she just had that boss battle with Jeanne in the rain, and she can now transform into a panther.....dude...what?
But this is the Bayonetta thread, not DMC, back to Bayonetta, I've just beaten it!
This game just got in my book of all time favorites. The final boss battle, OMG it's incredible!!!! The characters are so fun, I really hope Sega makes a sequel, together with Kamiya.
Have you got to the end, Tuffy ?
At this battle you mentioned I was already awed! But the two last ones ... Oh My God!!! I swear I've never seen anything like!
Don't fuck with a witch!
I started a game on Hard mode, and for the one battle where you have to execute three torture attacks within three minutes, the enemies are replaced with Grace and Glory...ugh. I hear they're all over the place in Hard mode.
Bayonetta game director Yusuke Hashimoto has promised to share "new information" related to the acclaimed beat-'em-up this week.
Could this be a sequel?
"Good morning," tweeted Hashimoto, cheerily (via andriasang). "It looks like we'll be able to share new information related to Bayonetta this week. Look forward to it."
SEGA offered a flat "no comment" to Eurogamer when approached earlier.
Supporting the sequel argument are comments made by SEGA West boss Mike Hayes in March this year, who said the publisher could "sequel-ise" Bayonetta.
The andriasang report added that Hashimoto has apparently expressed interest in developing a spin-off game set in the Bayonetta world.
Bayonetta was released in October 2009 in Japan, and in January in the West. Eurogamer bloody loved it.

Please be a sequel. Please be a sequel. Please be a sequel. Please be a sequel....
I never played any of the DMC games, but since everyone says Bayonetta is so much more crazy and over the top, then DMC must be a real sleeping-pill
PlatinumGames has offered the strongest indication yet that Bayonetta fans will get the sequel they crave.
Co-founder Atsushi Inaba told Eurogamer the Japanese developer "would love" to make Bayonetta 2 and will do so "when the time is right".
Inaba, who was the producer of upcoming science fiction action game Vanquish, responded to questions surround a tweet from fellow PlatinumGames co-founder Hideki Kamiya.
"Will there be a Bayonetta 2?" a fan asked the Bayonetta and Devil May Cry director on Twitter last month. "I believe so," he replied.
"She'll be back if you believe so," he said to another follower.
"There is no concrete plan or schedule that we can talk about," Inaba told Eurogamer. "It's not like Kamiya said, 'Okay, we're going to make this.
"But Bayonetta is definitely a special IP for us. We loved creating that game. We think it was a really good game.
"We would love to make a sequel to it when the time is right. That's all we can say."
Bayonetta met a warm reception from hardcore gamers and critics, and respectable sales, when it was released late last year in Japan and early this year in the West. Publisher SEGA has indicated it may be up for a sequel.
Is it ok to feel a little proud of myself for beating the game (on Normal)?
I'd love to use all those nice combos, I assure you, but in the heat of battle, I tend to forget most of them. The closest I get to thinking coherently is "Hmm... Let's press buttons at different speeds, that way we can make a different combo!" Truthfully though, planning out combos to use just doesn't work for me because then I get too caught up on using it then take more damage than I should.

I'm starting to see little point in lollipops. I made green lollipops with concoctions and bought a few, but they're the only ones I use. I have some of the other colours, but I never really want to use them. Even with the green lollipops, I don't feel like getting them anymore because I have a tendency to die anyway. It's alright, I'm used to getting Stone awards or whatever they are at the end of chapters. The best I got was a silver award and then a bronze award. I've been stoned ever since.
The first time I fought Grace & Glory, I was thinking, "Oh shit, these are the two that everyone was complaining about" but then I beat them easily and was kind of confused. Then my ass got kicked a few times the second time around. I have to say, though, my most proud moment so far was beating them in our third fight. I took down Glory in the first few seconds. It helped that I still had my chainsaw from my previous encounter with Harmonies.
I'm not sure whether I ought to be saving up for accessories and weapons, but I just save up for techniques at the moment. They're handy enough. Heel stomp makes me feel pretty badass. Haha, I used it once when fighting against Grace & Glory for the second time in the game and immediately regretted it. I just had to do it when they were both together and only one was down on the ground... Heh.
I miss hearing that cover of 'Fly Me to the Moon' though :(

Hehe, that's exactly how it was for me XD and somehow I made it through the game.
Impressed with Bayonetta? How would you like to have a sequel of the game? If you're a fan, then you'll be glad to know that there's going to be a Part 2.
The official confirmation was made via Hideki Kamiya's Twitter account, where he confirmed that Bayonetta 2 is in fact in development. A fan asked if there will be a sequel, and when it will be shown to the public first.
"In next year's TGS will we see a first look on the new Bayonetta? Or at least when are we going to?" To which Kamiya replied, "You'll see soon." He also later on divulged, again via Twitter, that they've already got DLC plans for Bayonetta 2.
Now all that fans have to do is keep their patience and wait for the official reveal of Bayonetta 2.
Platinum Games could be about to go public with a follow-up to its acclaimed action title Bayonetta, judging by a Tweet from director Hideki Kamiya.
In response to a question from a follower as to when a sequel might be announced, Kamiya replied "This week... in a game magazine...", according to Andriasang's translation.
Of course, he could be pulling our legs, but with Tokyo Game Show kicking off in just over a fortnight, that timing doesn't sound too far-fetched.
This isn't the first we've head of a Bayonetta sequel. Last October, Platinum founder Atsushi Inaba said "We would love to make a sequel to it when the time is right". A month prior to that, when asked whether we could expect more from the franchise, Kamiya said "I believe so".
We've asked Sega for comment, and will update if a confession is forthcoming.
The game magazine he's apparently referring to is Famitsu, and contents of that publication have already leaked onto the internet. No Bayonetta 2!
Atsushi Inaba, a producer at Platinum Games quickly hoped on Twitter, to put out this fire, saying that there is no Bayonetta 2 reveal this week.
"We aren't showing anything new, guys!" Inaba wrote, adding that Kamiya likes to "skirt the line with his jokes on twitter" and added that he was going to flick Kamiya in the ear.
