it seems that there will be 12 songs (including 4 singles) in total, according to neowing. So don't worry. XD
also, besides 12 songs the limited version will include DVD:

3. Jacket making <--was put in Single V in past
then I am confused about the content of single V, also the 3 versions of DVD in 42th. so many DVDs lol

^^Recently for other H!P acts they've been putting the jacket photo shoot on the DVD that comes with the limited edition. The Single V in those cases is usually the main PV, alternate/closeup/dance shot, and the PV making of.
So, instead of having the single V with both the jacket shoot and the PV making of, they split it up.

that reminds me of the Peppa Keibu single, which put the jacket making into limited(A) version.
But in 42 th single there are total 3 versions including DVDs..Adding the single V one..just wondering how many versions of PV will UFA want to make. :nervous

I always thought the Chinese version of "Ame no Furanai..." sounds better than the Japanese one. So no complains on my side. Besides, it's great opportunity to show us more pandas 8) (finally)
And I really hope Genki Pikkapikka is going to be Genki+ type song (well ... hope based on title similarities might not be enough...)

Well, I hope that they at least alter the arrangement/beat enough to help it stand out more beyond simply being in Chinese.
Speaking of showing us more pandas, three of the tracks are being divided up by generation: "Ookii Hitomi" will feature Eri, Sayu, and Reina; "Ano Hi ni Modoritai" is an Ai/Risa duet (definitely looking forward to this one); and "Osaka Oishiinen" sees Aika teaming up with Jun/Lin (or as I like to call them, LL and Cool J :P). The rest I assume are full group songs.

The song is quite upbeat and catchy so hopefully it has a general mix upbeat and slow songs away from the singles and what has been performed before and luckily I did pre-order it but it won't come in for a while (Thank you Amazon XD)

You turn an easily forgettable song like "Onna ga Medatte naze Ikkenai" into a single, and put a f**king awesome song like "Moonlight Night" as a random song on the album. I demand a PV!

Agreed. I can imagine such a cool PV of the Moonlight Night. I hope at least we will see (and hear) this song on concerts a lot.
But I have mixed feeling about the "Ooki Hitomi". Some passages are ok, some are virtually getting on my nerves. I guess I'll have to give it some time.

I pre-ordered mine on JapanFiles.com months ago, when they first send me an email, sometime in January, 1-12-2010 to be exact. Then just a few weeks ago, I got an e-mail from Japanfiles/HelloStoreUSA that pre-order starts now. In my mind, I was thinking, if pre-order just started, then what did I ordered back in January?! Did it went through?
fortunately, I checked my orders on Japanfiles.com and it did record my purchases on that day. was kinda confuse until I confirmed it. Does anyone know when Japanfiles.com will shipped their orders? I doubt it's on 3-17-2010, cuz they gotta get the shipment in, processed it, organized, then shipped to customers.

here's something I don't get. How do the radio people get 2-3 songs from the album knowing they'll never play them again?
Least I know they're giving the girls a chance playing these songs as a preview for the album

I like Aho hi ni Midoritai, loving you forever, namidacchi, and genki pika pika. well, basically all of the previewed songs from the album. I hope this keeps up. These type of songs aren't used as Major singles, they're different. I like the different range of songs in this album. glad I pre-ordered it.
Are all the songs produced by Tsunku, or these songs?

I'm thinking most of the song previews are ok. Gotta listen to them more, I'll probably grow to like them more. :P

I've ordered from Yesasia, CD Japan, HMV Japan, and Amazon Japan and Amazon Japan always gets here (US east coast) the quickest. But yeah it can get kind of expensive, especially if you get just one CD.
I went the JapanFiles/HelloStoreUSA route this time - couldn't pass up on that price! I really don't care about waiting a month since CD Japan's cheapest shipping takes that long to get to my house anyway.

To be honest, I didn't like this album too much. It was kind of a disappointment, especially compared to Platinum 9 DISC. It felt almost rushed too, like they just quickly composed some new average sounding songs and threw them in.
BUT, I do have favourite tracks: Moonlight Night ~Tsukiyo no ban da yo~ (best song in the album), Genki Pikappika!, Namidacchi (my second favourite), Ooki Hitomi and Ame no Furanai Hoshi de wa Aisenai Darou (Chinese Ver.).

Yeah...and the grouping songs (5th, 6th, 8th+9th gen) songs were a bit odd, coulda been stronger productionwise. Like why not have Ai and Risa belt it out, something you wouldn't expect??
The sales slipping too...shoulda threw in a poster! or 10 editions!

how I feel is that it was not maybe the best thing out there but I think they went back to more of their background in general and maybe it was rushed but I think it was good and worth a listen, that's all I can really say.
I like Osaka Oishiinen and Ooki Hitomi the best from the album but the TakaGaki was the cornerstone to the album so I thought it was good but not the best product out there

YES TAKAGAKI... but for me the best was the new version of the chinese song (that i won't be surprised but annoyed if appears in their next release too)
Oh well, my favorite thing of this whole thing is obviously the newspaper dress for Ai (TOO HOT) and the singles sound better now that the day of the release (but that's just coz i enjoy them more now)

I lolled at Okii Hitomi. Sayumi autotuned for nearly the entire song.
