A group of Japanese sued over a history textbook that critics say whitewashes Japan's wartime aggression and has angered Asian neighbors, demanding on Thursday that a local government cancel its adoption of the text. "the text's approach corrected a "masochistic" view of history which they said had deprived Japanese of pride and patriotism." the books authors and supporters smoke the crack. corrected? more like ignore it. but whatever.

Not telling the truth or minimizing the damage caused to others during the wartime will only hinder Japan's strained relationships with its Asian neighbors.

this is one perhaps the only thing i feel sick about japan or the older generation there. for them to not admit anything during the wartime was sick for us Chinese.

Yeah, it's like losing a game of poker to your friends and calling THEM a cheater. I just feel sorry of the coming generation of Japanese children that travel to China and Korea, ignorant of their past atrocities and going home asking, "Mommy Daddy, why do Koreans and Chinese hate us so much? What did we ever do to them?"
