12-year-old Jasmine Roberts is a seventh-grade student at Benito Middle School in New Tampa.
When it came time for her to choose a science project, she wondered about the ice in fast food restaurants. (http://www.tampabays10.com/news/news.aspx?storyid=25442)

the article definitely makes you think twice about eating out at almost any place. but, something that has less bacteria, doesn't necessarily mean it's "cleaner"
I did an experiment in school, where I cultured bacteria found in the nozzles of the water fountains and the results were GROSS. which is why I never drink from there after that, unless I really really really have to...

It doesn't necessarily mean that ice in fast food restaurants isn't clean... Maybe they just have clean toilet water in Tampa :)

Good thing that if I eat out I always ask for no ice in my drinks. :) :) :)
