New single is announced! The music video to the main song was filmed in Guam.
The difference between the A and B version is that both will have a different (second) coupling song and PV.

2. And there is Rie that I like more and more :P

The song is so so. Nothing special. The chorus is not catchy enough (for me).

When I only hear the song, it's not special for me.

I'm looking forward to the full PV. The opening scene of it, according to reports from people who've seen it in the theater, sound AWESOME. :fap I also really like the song as well, and shamefully bought both versions. :lol: The CD covers aren't that great, but they're good enough. XD
Also, the biggest highlight in this whole release is Akicha. Hot DAMN she is looking perfect lately. She needs a photo book NOW.

#2 for the month is pretty dang impressive, since it was only on sale for the last 6 days of the month.

Last week, AKB48 released their 16th major label single, "Ponytail to Chouchou." They proved their popularity once again, taking #1 with 513,000 copies sold. This is the first single by a female group to break half a million in opening week sales since Morning Musume's "Renai Revolution 21" in 2000 (515,000 copies), and the first by a female artist since Hikaru Utada's "Can You Keep A Secret?" in 2001 (784,000 copies).
TVXQ's Junsu, under the name XIAH junsu, took #2 with his solo single, selling 195,000 copies. This sets the current record for a solo artist so far this year.
Lia and Aoi Tada's collaborative single ranked #3 for the week, while S/mileage made it to #5. Sata Andagi (#7), ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION (#8), and Etsuko Yakushimaru (#10) also made the top ten.
On the albums chart, Quruli's "Boku no Sundeita Machi" led the way with 20,000 copies sold. Reunited rock band Anzen Chitai was #3, marking their first top-three appearance in roughly 20 years. Right behind them were Seiko Matsuda (#4) and Boom Boom Satellites (#5), while GReeeeN's special album entered at #10.

I finally sat down and watched the other PVs :nervous
I knew Nusumareta Kuchibiru has some awesome Rena moments, but I never realized how pretty the rest of them are in this pv. Especially Kumi. Ami is super cute and sasshi's also very pretty.
Majijo Teppen Blues also has some great scenes... komori talking again, Jurippa climbing the stairs... Takamina's solo break. Great stuff.
