Well I wrote that after swiss got beaten 5-0 by Finland. But they sure fought well against czechs, so I guess I have to partly take that back.

I watched the US vs. Sweden game and it was straight up horrible. USA has to have the slowest team ever. They even had two 5 vs. 3 powerplays but they failed to score.

We couldn't play our forechecking style. There wasn't enough passion. I don't think bringing in Crosby or Spezza woulda helped. Ovechkin woulda wiped they asses with a 2 x 4. We needed thugs like Peca and Niedermayer. Brodeur was solid. I blame the stripper for the coach. Get rid of Quinn + Hitchcock. Bring in the Sutter Brothers. :D:D

Me too... I thought Russia was one of the best teams in the tournament, and it was great yesterday, when Finland won Russia with clear numbers. Apparently Russia wasn't so good after all, which might mean that Finland isn't so good either... :o
