Title: Eurovision Song Contest 2010 in OSLO!

Not quite sure how many of you actually follow this, but yeah, it's that time of the year again! Whether you watch Eurovision for the music, the camp costumes, or to play drinking games with your buddies, let's join in and discuss the acts!

The final can be followed online at the official Eurovision site here (http://www.eurovision.tv/esctv/future) (from 9pm CET, 29th of May), you need a plugin, but it's available for all operating systems, so that shouldn't be a problem!

Here's the list of participants in order of appearance:

I've had the pleasure of seeing him perform this song live, and while the song may be a bit boring, his voice really blew me away *o* His English has been a running joke over here in Norway, though. When he won the national final, he literally did sing "My hard is yours" (evidence in video below xD). They made him take pronunciation classes to fix this before tonight's international final XD Will be interesting to see if he's managed to change his pronunciation :p

Norway epic fail (were we really having debates two weeks back about how to pay for a second Eurovision final?), and Spain not doing well at all despite getting to perform their number twice (thanks to stage invasion by Jimmy Jump). I guess classic Eurovision beats didn't do it for the Eurovision fans this year, I really do find it weird that Iceland didn't rank higher. Oh well. xD Have to congratulate my Scandinavian neighbour Denmark with fourth place! Good stuff. No idea why people loved that song so much, though. I kept hearing "Every Breath You Take" which was irritating and distracting.
