I like this show. Kind of random but with AKB presenting its a lot more interesting :lol:
The first segment with Yuko was good. She was awesome leading the troupe. lol dancing on top of a building to make it shake. Getting Choi Hong Man on there was cool. He seems to be on a lot of shows lately. Him picking Komori was cute :lol:

The segment No Sleeves presented with bangs/fringe making people look younger I've seen on another show. But AKB presenting it makes it better I guess, lol.
Fashion part was great showcasing different eras of fashion. All the girls who modeled the clothes looked great.

50s and 60s fashion is hella classy. Kasai and Mayuyu look super cute :wub:. 70s fashion I'm not really into but Sae was really suited for that outfit.
Pudding was epic fail! But Team Drumkan is baller.

AKB48′s “Naruhodo High School” gets golden time slot

Hot on the heels of selling more than 900,000 copies with their latest single, idol group AKB48 has revealed that they will have their own regular television show, starting this spring. Titled “Naruhodo! High School,” it will be the group’s first show in a prized “golden time” slot, airing on Thursday nights at 7:00pm.
The show originally aired twice last year as a special program under the title “Naruhodo High School” (without the exclamation mark). The first one, broadcast on May 30, 2010, achieved ratings of 8.0%, and the second one on October 9 improved that to 11.8%. Encouraged by the results, NTV decided to make it a regular offering, beginning this April.
“Naruhodo High School” is an information and variety show, which also involves the members of AKB48 carrying out various experiments, such as skydiving to determine at what altitude a mobile phone begins getting reception.
It is anticipated that approximately 20 members of AKB48 will appear in each episode of the show. Comedian Tamura Atsushi (37) of the duo London Boots 1-go 2-go will be a regular host as their “homeroom teacher.” Special celebrity appearances are planned for the show, as well as collaborations with other popular NTV programs.

I finally got around watching the eps. Really nice :thumbup Definitely more serious, and more depth than the average AKB48 show, but still entertaining.
I liked how they picked some subjects which are 'close' to AKB, like the reason why the duckface is cute, history of seifuku, etc :thumbup

I was socked it took Takamina and Haruna over 5 minutes to get noticed. No surprise with Acchan getting first though. I feel bad for Yui and Akicha especially since they showed it on TV. It must have been pretty embarrassing being the only 2.

I think the time each girls did is one of the factors that led to these results. Takamina and Kojiharu started as first two which maybe around early afternoon, so there are not many teenager girls at that time. (Teenagers girls are the type of ppls. that will notice them (unlike adults) and has guts to try saying hi to them.(unlike boys)
Another one is TV appearances, Sayaka and Sasshi got many TV appearance outside AKB shows, so general ppl. will acknowledge about them more than Yuihan or Akicha who got stuck in AKB48 shows.

AKB48 vs Onee48 vs Geinoujin-oyako48 SP was pretty awesome.
It was interesting to see these celebs and their kids. Highlight was the VTR with that girl's new boyfriend :lol:
Despite the harsh comments regarding some of the girl's make-up and clothes, it's still good exposure for them; yuki, yui, haruna, kasai, etc. :thumbup

the SP was pretty great. lol'd at bobby ologun's kids, atsushi getting kissed by tanoshingo, brother kone's daughter totally owning him with the bf.
i thought the make-up and wardrobe dudes were really interesting actually. everyone took it well except tomochin, gotdam she looked pissed lol. yukirin going ballistic when he said she had the best outfit was lol and everyone freaking out when takamina tucked her bangs behind her ears (it actually did make a nice difference, how weird XD)
