New unit called "Natto Angles Z". Their song is called "Natto Man" Special presentation July 5th AKB48 Theater. Regular promotion on July 10th Natto Day.

Actually, I thought it was all new members. I forgot that Myao was part of Natto Angels for a moment.
Btw, what's with the 'Z'? There are many groups that get a 'Z' behind their name... what does it stand for?

It's written more like nattou enjeluZ so the Z functions for what would be the S plural.

Yes, but you see it much more. For example in men-dol when Riku recreated persona, the group was called Persona Z. There has to be more to it..

A random guess, but I think the Z is just like the X. It really means nothing and is just for whatever comes after the original. You always see in Western things that go from "Something" to "Something X" when they release a newer version of the same thing.
And as much as I love Myao, I kind of wish she wasn't in this new unit. Hopefully they don't give her 70% of the lines or it'd ruin the group.

Yep. Quoting Gintama. Adding Z, X, Turn A, random numbers, Kai, etc to names makes it sound cooler.
But Myao was originally in this group. If she wasn't there, it would just be a new group. :nervous

nononono Z does have a meaning but I can't remember for the life of me what it is or where it comes from.(the anime geek inside me is yelling at me already -__-")
It's like a 'level up.' Now tomotomo have their own unit, I think that is why they're not in natto angels anymore.

Somehow I don't think this version of the group will inspire me to dream about natto (http://forum.jphip.com/index.php?topic=23251.msg656229#msg656229). But that's probably a good thing.
Really, I decided not to post in this thread until I got over my initial disappointment at the lack of TomoTomo, because I do like all four of these girls and didn't want to say anything negative about them. From the snippet of the song in the video, I think I'll like the song as well.
Now tomotomo have their own unit, I think that is why they're not in natto angels anymore.
I don't think Queen & Elizabeth is "officially" AKB48 related though, because they haven't done Love Wars in concert. :cry:

I'm happy to see Suuchan and Harukyan in an other unit that their team ! ^^
And their song are rather good ! ^^
Do you think that this unit will change again after Natto Man ? (if there is a new single, of course ! =P)
