This is ridiculous. Especially the fact that nobody in the US was punished. There's no way Bayer behaved "responsibly." No one should've even allowed that to GET overseas.

Gross. The fact that profit was so important and not the health of citizens makes me sick.

This is why we need to do something about pharmaceutical companies and our health care system in general. If the health of our society is driven by the desire to raise profits, the quality of our health care will suffer without fail.

Goddamn.  Even if you have healthcare, you're screwed...  At least I get front row seats to see how Rome fell apart.  The Canadians are close enough to barbarians.   :roll:
