Abe Natsumi’s 12th single, temporarily titled Ame Agari no Niji no You ni (Eng: something along the lines of “Hoping for a rainbow after the rain”), has been announced. This single promises to brush of her former idol image by showing off her singing skills.

It will be available in two versions: Regular and Limited, the Limited version will include a DVD with the PV for the single. This will be Abe’s first new release in 2 years after her 12th single Screen and her graduation from H!P.

The release date is set for 9/15.

She hasn't exactly been "inactive." Sure it's been a while since her last CD single was released, but Nacchi has been working pretty steadily in the meantime, doing radio shows and a few theatrical plays/musicals.

Well I guess inactive's not the right word per se, but what's she's been doing recently is nothing compared to what she did say....6-7 years ago

Not a fan of the light rock sound, but she sounds as amazing as usual. I think I like the B-side more.

Yeah, I agree with J-Tri. Not a huge fan of the sound, especially on the A-side. The b-side is cute, though.

I'll probably try to get my hands on it anyway for Nacchi support.  :heart:

Well I disagree and say the sound and the voice mesh well, it has a different feel away from the H!P releases which is why I am disagreeing.  But her voice is still wonderful and I don't think I can ever go against that :)

Well, it's not as good as Screen and I wish it was definitely more like Screen, but. It's Nacchi, she sounds beautiful, and I've actually always had a soft spot for Ayaya and Nacchi's ballads.

Basically at this point I'll take what I can get. ^^ But I actually really like Ame Agari; Nacchi's voice is fantastic.
